The present invention provides a ratchet wrench attachment for a drill. The device includes an elongated body including a ratchet head disposed on one end therof, wherein the ratchet head is removably securable thereto. The ratchet head includes an interior gear, which is affixed to a tube having a central aperture. A removable drive shaft-secured to the central aperture, and thus connected to the gear—-extends outward from the first end of the elongated body. The drive shaft extends through the elongated body beyond a periphery the opposite end of the elongated body. In one embodiment, the drive shaft comprises a hexagonal cross-section, whereby the drive shaft may be secured within the chuck of a power drill. The power drill causes the drive shaft to rotate, which, in turn, causes the ratchet head to rotate in a desired direction. The device can be used with any ordinary power drill.

A handle extends about a first axis and includes a bifurcated portion. The bifurcated portion includes a concave face and two screw holes along a second axis. A toothed ring extends about a third axis and includes a convex face in compliance with the concave face and two bores along a fourth axis. The toothed ring is moved into a space in the concave face while keeping the third axis parallel to the second axis. The third axis is overlapped with the second axis and a center of the toothed ring is near or coincides with a middle point of a segment of the second axis in the bifurcated portion. The toothed ring is rotated about the first axis so that the fourth axis is overlapped with the second axis and the bores are aligned with the screw holes. Two screws are inserted in the screw holes and the bores.

A ratchet wrench assembly (10) is provided that includes a head (12), a ratchet gear (130), a yolk (100), one or more drive pins (122,120), a body (80), and a ratchet pawl (140). The body (80) may include one or more drive edges (84) and a fastener drive member (20). A first drive edge (84) may be engaged with a first drive pin (122) such that reciprocation of the yolk (100) causes rotation of the body (80) and the fastener drive member (20) about the axis of rotation via engagement of the first drive pin (122) between the inner surface of the yolk ring (102) and the first drive edge (84). The ratchet pawl (140) may include a first ratchet tooth (144) configured ratchet against gear teeth (132) of the ratchet gear (130) to permit movement of the body (80) relative to the head (12) in a first rotational direction and engage the gear teeth (132) to prevent movement of the body (80) relative to the head (12) in second, opposite rotational direction.

Torque Wrench
20230137124 · 2023-05-04 ·

A torque wrench including a head, a handle, a primary beam, a secondary beam, and a torque adjustment mechanism. The primary beam couples the head and the handle for co-rotation about the rotational axis and the primary beam includes a first end adjacent the head and a second end adjacent the handle. The secondary beam is coupled to the head for rotation with the head about the rotational axis and the secondary beam is movable relative to the primary beam and the handle. The torque adjustment mechanism adjusts a torque setting of the primary beam relative to the secondary beam. The torque adjustment mechanism includes a thumb adjustment wheel that a user rotates about a first axis to adjust the torque setting by moving the second end of the primary beam relative to the handle along a second axis offset from the first axis.

Screwdriver

A screwdriver, including driver bit sleeve, revolving wheel-shaped driver bit holder and pushrod, the revolving wheel-shaped screwdriver bit holder is rotatably arranged at the rear side of the driver bit sleeve, the revolving wheel-shaped driver bit holder is distributed with axial containing hole containing driver bit and the containing hole can be turned to axially coincide with the inner hole of the driver bit sleeve; pushrod is arranged at the rear side of the revolving wheel-shaped driver bit holder and axially coincides with the inner hole of the driver bit sleeve, the inner hole of the driver bit sleeve includes torque transmission segment at the front part and guiding segment at the rear part, the hole wall of the guiding segment is arranged as guiding surface; and it can also include handle, pushbutton set, pushrod which extends into one of containing holes of driver bit holder when pushbutton set is positioned at first positioning portion of the front part of slideway on the handle, pushing the driver bit in the containing hole toward the driver bit sleeve on the handle until the driver bit extends out of the driver bit sleeve, and the pushrod is positioned at the rear side of the driver bit holder when the pushbutton set is positioned at the rear part of the slideway on the handle and take the corresponding driver bit back into the corresponding containing hole. Fewer constituent parts, simple structured, easy to replace the driver bit.

A ratchet wrench comprising a ratchet head with a cylindrical bore having a central axis; a handle; a drive member (26) with a rotation axis (W-W) retained within the cylindrical bore for rotation about the central axis; and a toothed ratchet pawl (42); a cylindrical array of straight ratchet teeth arranged about one of the cylindrical bore or the drive member; and a pawl recess (36) arranged to support the pawl. The pawl may mesh with the ratchet teeth for transmission of rotation of the handle in a first direction to the drive member about the rotation axis or disengage from the ratchet teeth to decouple rotation of the handle in a second direction from the drive member. Support (37a, 37b, 46, 48, 50) for the pawl in the recess is shaped to accommodate divergence between the central axis and the rotation axis.

A wrench structure with a variable driving state includes a rod and a sleeve connected to the rod. An outer surface of the rod includes an accommodating slot, an engaging block, an elastic element, and a connecting portion. The engaging block and the elastic element are disposed in the accommodating slot. The connecting portion is adjacent to the accommodating slot and surrounds the outer surface of the rod. The sleeve includes a first ratchet portion, a second ratchet portion, and a non-ratchet portion located between the two ratchet portions. The sleeve can be selectively displaced relative to the rod to a first position, where the connecting portion is connected with the second ratchet portion, or a second position, where the connecting portion is adjacent to the non-ratchet portion. By controlling the relative positions of the rod and the sleeve, the driving state of the wrench structure can be switched.
