WRENCH HEAD
A wrench head (100) comprises a working axis (1089), a first jaw (110), a second jaw (120), and a third jaw (130). The first jaw (110) comprises a first-jaw arcuate convex contact surface (111A), a second first-jaw arcuate convex contact surface (111B), a third first-jaw arcuate convex contact surface (111C), and a first-jaw planar contact surface (160). The second jaw (120) is coupled with and pivotable relative to the first jaw (110) and comprises a second-jaw arcuate convex contact surface (121A), a second second-jaw arcuate convex contact surface (121B), and a second-jaw planar contact surface (140A). The third jaw (130) is coupled with and pivotable relative to the second jaw (120) and comprises third-jaw arcuate convex contact surfaces (131).
Wrench assembly with floating torque bodies
A wrench assembly comprising an upper clamp assembly, a lower clamp assembly coupled to the upper clamp assembly, and an alignment device disposed between the upper and lower clamp assemblies to allow the upper clamp assembly to move laterally relative to the lower clamp assembly when rotated relative to the lower clamp assembly.
Cable connector tool
A cable connector wrench and method of operation that in one example has a shaft with a pair of asymmetrical jaws at one end and a handle coupled to the other end. The two jaws form an assembly in which the jaws are joined with a pivot. The fixed jaw is attachable to the shaft and the movable jaw is coupled to the fixed jaw. The movable jaw and the fixed jaw cooperate to engage a connector of a cabled assembly wherein the connector wrench is adapted for tightening or loosening the connector of the cabled assembly.
Spanner wrench
A spanner wrench assembly including a base plate having a gripping portion extending from a handle portion and defining an arcuate cavity with an open end. At least one support plate is secured to the gripping portion and substantially matches a configuration of the arcuate cavity. The support plate is of a lesser density material than the base plate. An engagement plate substantially matches the configuration of the arcuate cavity and is secured with respect to the at least one support plate. A cover defines one elongate aperture extending to an open mouth portion formed by an adjacent end of the cover, and another elongate aperture extending to a closed mouth portion dimensioned to accept a connector head which is wider than the elongate apertures.
Oil filter remover
An oil filter remover includes a main body, a toothed element, three claw elements, and an elastic element. The main body has three first pivot portions and a first connecting portion between two adjacent first pivot portions. The toothed element is arranged at the center of the main body and is formed with an annular toothed portion. Each claw element has a bent clamping portion and a second pivot portion. The second pivot portions are pivotally connected to the first pivot portions respectively. Each claw element has a toothed portion to be engaged with the annular toothed portion respectively. One of the claw elements has a second connecting portion between the clamping portion and the second pivot portion. The elastic element is connected to the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion therebetween so that the claw elements tend to pivot toward the main body.
KNURLING EDGE DRIVING TOOL
A tool for driving a component with a knurling pattern around an outer surface of the component is provided. A shaft, with a first end, is in the form of at least a partial cylinder, where the at least partial cylinder has a first inner diameter that is less than an outer diameter of the knurling pattern. Serrations in the shaft have a pattern that matches the knurling pattern, which allow the serration in the shaft to engage with the knurling pattern so that when the shaft is rotated, the component is rotated.
Integrated roller-gearbox for spinner wrench
A gearbox for a roller in a spinner wrench is provided. In some embodiments, the gearbox can be disposed internally to the roller and can include a sun and planet type epicyclical gear-reduction assembly. In further embodiments, the gearbox can include a second sun and planet type epicyclical gear-reduction assembly to provide for a second, or final, stage reduction. Some embodiments can provide for reduction-ratios close to 3:1 and can be driven by a relatively small motor. The planet gears can be used to drive an annular gear which can spin the roller. In some embodiments, the gearbox can use high-capacity bearings.
Tool for rotatable joints
A tool for opening and/or closing rotatable joints, includes a slewing ring, a first grip member, and a second grip member. The first grip member is an annular plate. The second grip member includes two identical gripper arrangements, which include a gripper, an actuator, and bearing members of the actuator. The slewing ring includes an annular upper plate and an annular guide plate, between which plates grippers of the second grip member are arranged. The guide plate is arranged to slide in slots of slide pieces, which are in connection with the first grip member. The bearing members of the actuators are in connection with the first grip member, which actuators are arranged to move the grippers of the second grip member. The grippers are fastened to the slewing ring in a pivoted manner and arranged to grip the shaft of the joint.
Jaw wrench
A jaw wrench includes two first bodies, a second body a function end unit and a control unit. The first bodies each have a first toothed hole. The second body has a second toothed hole. The function unit includes a third body and a fourth body pivotably connected to the third body. The third body has a first toothed portion and is connected to the second body. The fourth body has a second toothed portion. An object is clamped between the first and second toothed portions. The control unit has two control members, two second resilient members and two covers. The two control members extend into the two first and second bodies and each have a third toothed hole which is engaged with the first/second toothed hole. When the control members are pushed, the third toothed holes are disengaged from the first toothed hole.
