DISPENSED SCREW POSITIONING UNIT FOR A DELIVERY MECHANISM OF A SCREW GUN
A dispensed screw positioning unit includes a base connected to a delivery mechanism of a screw gun and spaced from the delivery mechanism along a horizontal axis. The base includes two screw dispensing gates configured to clamp a dispensed screw along a vertical axis perpendicular to the horizontal axis. A gap between the two screw dispensing gates in a clamping state is aligned with a screw dispensing hole of the delivery mechanism. The two screw dispensing gates are biased by a first elastic device to the clamping state. A screw dispensed along the horizontal axis overcomes elasticity of the first elastic device to stretch open the two screw dispensing gates. A second elastic device is disposed between the base and the delivery mechanism to form an elastic spacing between the base and the delivery mechanism.
Implant driver
An apparatus for inserting implants in a bone comprising a frame having a cartridge receiving chamber and a barrel. A cartridge defining a plurality of chambers is positioned in the cartridge receiving chamber so the chambers are selectively alignable with a longitudinal passage of the barrel. At least one instrument is positioned in one of the chambers, and a plurality of implants is positioned in the other chambers. A drive assembly is engageable with the instrument and the implants. The drive assembly is slidably and rotatably disposed in the frame and is moveable between a retracted position, an engaging position wherein the distal end of the drive assembly is positioned to engage the selected one of the instrument and the implants, and an extended position wherein the drive assembly extends through the chamber to transport the selected one of the instrument or the implant from the chamber to the distal end of the barrel.
FASTENER CARTRIDGE
A fastener cartridge can be used with a shaft of a tool during an orthopedic procedure. The fastener cartridge can have a main housing that can be attached to fastener housing including a fastener chamber and a backstop component. The fastener chamber includes a plurality of non-flexible tabs and the backstop component includes a plurality of resiliently flexible tabs. The fastener housing is configured to include a plurality of fasteners that are arranged therein such that the longitudinal axes of the fastener chamber and the plurality of fasteners are collinear. The plurality non-flexible tabs prevent one of the fasteners from inadvertently passing entirely out of an outlet of the fastener chamber and the plurality of resiliently flexible tabs allow the fasteners to move axially in the first direction and restrict movement of the fasteners in a second direction opposite the first direction.
MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY FOR JOINING ELEMENTS AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING JOINING ELEMENTS WITHIN A MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY
A magazine assembly for temporarily receiving joining elements has a housing defining a longitudinal axis, within which a plurality of joining elements can be accommodated axially in sequence, and a conveyor, which is configured for conveying joining elements from a first axial end of the housing to an opposite second axial end of the housing. A plurality of housing nests is formed within the housing, which are arranged in sequence along the longitudinal axis and which are each configured for receiving a joining element, wherein the conveyor is configured for conveying a single joining element or several joining elements in cycles from an infeed housing nest at the first axial end of the housing to a dispensing housing nest at the opposite second axial end of the housing.

Multiple member interconnect for surgical instrument and absorbable screw fastener
An absorbable screw fastener and a method of firing with an applicator capable of applying a surgical fastener to tissue in order to form tissue connection to secure objects to tissue, the fastener including a body portion having a helical thread, a head portion disposed at the proximal end of the body portion. The head portion includes a driver receiving configuration on its outer surface. The screw fastener further includes a cannulated center lumen with an opening extending from the head portion through the longitudinal length of the body portion.
CYLINDER FOR REMOVAL, STORAGE, AND ATTACHMENT OF LUG NUTS
A tool is provided comprising an open cylinder, a socket at a first end of the cylinder, a square-shaped opening at a second end of the cylinder, a lengthwise chamber inside the cylinder with dimensions of the socket, an open slot lengthwise along the cylinder, a plurality of rectangular open slots disposed perpendicularly along the lengthwise open slot, a pushing mechanism disposed inside the chamber, a tab disposed to join the pushing mechanism for setting a position of the pushing mechanism and at least one ball bearing disposed inside the chamber proximate the first end, whereby the socket is in a shape of a wheel lug nut and is directed to removing and attaching said lug nut, and whereby the cylinder holds a plurality of said lug nuts at least during changing of at least one tire of a vehicle.

Screw releasing device with guiding function
A screw releasing device with a guiding function includes a first housing, a control mechanism, and a guiding hole, the first housing defines a first receiving groove, the control mechanism is received in the first receiving groove, and includes a first cam, a second cam, and a third cam, the third cam includes a serrated member, the guiding hole receives a number of screws, and defines a first opening, when the first cam is not driven, the serrated member extends to the guiding hole via the first opening, so that the serrated member is at a supporting location and supports a bottommost screw, when the first cam is driven, the first cam drives the third cam to be not limited by the second cam and rotate, thus the serrated member is rotated to release the bottommost screw.
Surgical fastener with predetermined resorption rate
A resorbable screw fastener and a method of firing with an applicator capable of applying a surgical fastener to tissue in order to form tissue connection to secure objects to tissue, the fastener including a body portion having a helical thread, a head portion disposed at the proximal end of the body portion. The resorbable screw fastener is 100% resorbed in vivo during a period of time ranging from about 14 days to about one year after implantation.
