Fastener driver
A driver for non-magnetic gripping of a socketed fastener head. The driver includes a shank and two cantilever beams. Each cantilever beam has an end and a basal segment adjacent the shank opposite the end. The driver also includes a gap defined by the two cantilever beams in resting positions. The gap extends between the two cantilever beams from an open end toward the shank. The ends of the two cantilever beams are configured to bend into the gap from the resting positions.
EXPANDABLE INTER-BODY DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Expandable spinal implants, systems and methods are disclosed. An expandable spinal implant may include a first endplate, a second endplate, and a moving mechanism that is operably coupled to the first and second endplates. The moving mechanism may include a wedge, a first sliding frame and a second sliding frame disposed on opposite sides of the wedge, a screw guide housing a rotatable first set screw and a rotatable second set screw opposite the first set screw. The first set screw may be operably coupled to the second sliding frame and the second set screw may be operably coupled to the wedge. The moving mechanism may operably adjust a spacing between the first and second endplates upon simultaneous rotation of the first and second set screws and operably adjust an angle of inclination between the first and second endplates upon translating the first set screw or second set screw.
Self-retaining screwdriver with slotted tip
A screwdriver includes a body extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end. The distal end includes a distal screw engaging tip. The screwdriver also includes a slot extending through a width of the screw engaging tip and extending proximally a distance into the body. The slot permits opposed portions of the screw engaging tip to spread apart from one another into a locking configuration in which the opposed portions apply a radially outward force against an interior surface of a recess in a head of a screw into which the screw engaging tip has been inserted to releasably lock the screw engaging tip within the recess.
Engaging structure for hand tool
An engaging structure for a hand tool includes a main body provided with a mounting element, six drive portions, six receiving portions, two first arcuate faces, a second arcuate face, a first radius, a second radius, a first distance, and a second distance. Each of the six receiving portions has an arcuate concave shape and is arranged between one of the two first arcuate faces of one of the six drive portions and one of the two first arcuate faces of another one of the six drive portions. Each of the six receiving portions forms a first circle and a third radius. The mounting element has a center forming a second circle forming a first hexagon having six sides. The center is served as an axis defining a second hexagon. The second hexagon is less than the first hexagon.
Centering support plane screwdriver
Provided are centering, support plane screwdrivers comprising: a retention housing having a top portion with an upper support surface having an outer perimeter and surrounding a central walled recess extending below the support surface, the recess configured to center and receive a screw head, or portion thereof, therein; an optional lip at the support surface perimeter; and a turning face on the retention housing for application of a torquing force. Additionally provided are centering, support plane screwdrivers comprising: a retention housing having a top portion with an upper support surface having an outer perimeter and surrounding a central screwdriver tip extending above the support surface; a lip positioned at the support surface perimeter; and a turning face on the retention housing. Methods for removing or installing a screw assembly (e.g., an espresso machine shower screen assembly) using the screwdrivers are also provided.
Anti-slip torque tool
An anti-slip torque tool that utilizes a plurality of grooves to prevent slippage and facilitate torque transfer to a fastener. The tool includes a wrench torque-tool body and an at least one engagement element. The wrench torque-tool body includes a plurality of internal sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. Further, each of the internal sidewalls includes a bracing surface. The engagement element includes at least one first groove and at least one second groove, wherein each further includes a primary cavity and a secondary cavity. The engagement element is laterally integrated into a specific sidewall to provide additional gripping action. The first groove and the second groove are positioned offset from each other, along the bracing surface of the specific sidewall. The primary cavity and the secondary cavity each traverse normal and into the bracing surface from the first base to the second base.
Set screw driver
A tool for use with a fastener includes a drive shaft extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end. The tool includes an engaging tip extending from the distal end, the engaging tip sized and shaped to detachably engage a receiving portion of the fastener, wherein the engaging tip is rotationally fixed to the fastener when the engaging tip is engaged with the fastener. The tool includes a compressible winged member extending distally from the drive shaft, the compressible winged member moveable between compressed and uncompressed positions. In the uncompressed position, the compressible winged member spans a distance greater than an internal diameter of a portion of the receiving portion.
Screw Turning Device
A screw turning device, comprising a screw turning mechanism and an extension mechanism. The screw turning mechanism is provided with one or more accommodating grooves and one or more limiting structures. The accommodating grooves and the limiting structures cooperate to allow a screw to be seized within the screw turning mechanism. The screw turning mechanism and the extension mechanism cooperate to realize screw-tightening operations from the ground to high altitudes. The screw turning mechanism is used to secure the screws that need to be installed. By coordinating the extension mechanism with the screw turning mechanism, it can perform high-altitude screw-tightening operations from the ground, making the process convenient, quick, and safe.
