The shank is defined with a central vertical face in the longitudinal direction. The electronic torque wrench further includes a display unit having two display screens. The two display screens are respectively disposed on two sides of the central vertical face. The two display screens are disposed by an inclination and directed upward and outward, whereby a user can easily observe the torque value displayed on the display screens.

BOLT TENSIONING TOOL
20220152803 · 2022-05-19 · ·

The present specification relates to a bolt tensioning tool adapted to tension a bolt protruding from a workpiece, and comprising a bolt receiving element (5) adapted to be screwed onto the bolt, a nut socket (10) adapted to receive a nut, an axle (3) adapted to exert an axial force on the bolt receiving element, a threaded sleeve (6) arranged to engage the axle and having an internal thread (6a) adapted to cooperate with an external thread (3a) of the axle (3) such that a relative rotational movement there between results in a relative axial displacement between the axle and the threaded sleeve, a supporting sleeve (2) coupled to the threaded sleeve and adapted to selectively bear against the workpiece and a coupling (9) adapted to connect the nut socket and the supporting sleeve, the coupling is a coupling allowing a limited relative movement between the socket and the sleeve.

HYBRID ELECTROMECHANICAL TORQUE WRENCH

A torque wrench having post-torque rotation setting and measurement function, optionally including auto transition from torque to angle rotation, which may operation with and without batteries, including low profile design, improved visual, audio and haptic feedback, a recesses pawl seat for improved accuracy and longevity and improved handle rotation for torque setting and spring unwinding by virtue of improved torque setting nut design.

COMBINATION TOOL FOR TENSIONED FASTENERS

An apparatus for tensioning a fastener while measuring displacement of the fastener relative to a female threaded member may include a driver extension having an interior channel aligned along the extension's central cylindrical axis, open to a socket driver at an output end of the driver. The apparatus may further include a measurement probe in the interior channel, coupled to a measurement indicator on an exterior of the extension by a coupling that moves the measurement indicator in proportion to movement of the measurement probe and a measurement gauge coupled to an exterior of the driver extension that gauges displacement of the measurement indicator. A method for using the apparatus includes driving a female threaded member along a threaded rod by the driver extension while holding the measurement probe against an end of a bolt, screw, or other threaded fastener of which the threaded rod forms a part and while reading the measurement gauge.

Torque wrench with shock absorption

The present disclosure relates to a tool including one or more shock absorption components disposed in the tool and adapted to protect various components of the tool in the event the tool is dropped or otherwise sustains an impact force. In an embodiment, the tool includes shock absorption foam disposed above and below an electronic display. The tool may also include a shock absorption component disposed under an end cap of the tool to absorb a shock or impact force to the tool when the tool is dropped on the end cap.

Assembly of a screw connection

A method and a system for assembling a screw connection for a predefined operating load. The system includes a detector configured to detect values of at least one influence factor on the screw connection, a calculator configured to determine, based on the operating load, a required pretensioning force of the screw connection, and, based on the determined pretensioning force, to determine an expression of at least one assembly parameter, and an assembler configured to assemble the screw connection in accordance with the determined expression of the assembly parameter.

TORQUE WRENCH WITH DIGITAL DISPLAY FOR EASY TORQUE ADJUSTMENT
20230256574 · 2023-08-17 ·

The present invention provides a torque wrench with digital display for easy torque adjustment, including a main body, a wrenching member, a trigger mechanism, a torque adjustment device, and a torque sensing device. The torque adjustment device includes an elastic member, a moving member, a transmission gear, and a modulating member. The modulating member rotationally drives the transmission gear to rotate, so as to drive the moving member to generate a linear displacement, thereby adjusting the support position of the moving member with respect to the elastic member, achieving an efficient torque value adjustment effect and purpose.

The printed circuit board is disposed in the opening. The display is disposed on the printed circuit board. The cover is located above the printed circuit board and covers on the opening. The protection member is assembled with the cover. The protection member includes a body and two wing portions. The body covers on the display. The two wing portions are connected to two sides of the body and cover on two sides of the display.

CONTROL DEVICE AND WORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING SAME
20220126427 · 2022-04-28 ·

A control device is provided with a communication unit and a processing unit. The communication unit makes communication with a tool that is used for the work of fastening a fastener (for example, a screw) and with an image pickup unit for capturing an image of the work site where the work is being performed. The processing unit executes a determination process of determining whether or not the work is being performed normally on the basis of the fastening torque applied to the fastener by the tool and the image captured by the image pickup unit.

Torque wrench evaluation system and method

A method for evaluating a condition of a torque wrench includes connecting the torque wrench to an adapter, detecting a click point, where a click mechanism of the torque wrench is decoupled from a first position into a second position, and measuring a click torque value at the click point, detecting a peak point and measuring a peak torque value at the peak point, detecting a release point, where the click mechanism is moving back from the second position into the first position, and measuring a release torque value at the release point, determining that the evaluation was performed correctly if the click point, the peak point and the release point were detected.
