Backup wrenches
A reaction torque limiting backup wrench arrangement (1) has at least one fastener engaging means e.g. spanner (6) or socket (170), for a pressure boundary bolted joint nut (5) of a respective fastener (3). The backup wrench arrangement provides a reaction torque up to a threshold above which rotation allowed by motion of the fastener engaging means is determined by a magnitude of the reaction torque and force deflection characteristic of a biasing arrangement acting directly or indirectly on the fastener engaging means. Tension in the flexible tension element e.g. chain (7) urges the spanner (6) onto the nut (5) of the fastener permitting the spanner to displace when torque transmitted through a bolt to the nut or bolt head within the spanner exceeds a threshold torque, enabling the nut or bolt head to rotate, helping prevent bolt over-tightening, and helping indicate the bolt seizing or galling.
Torque wrench with elastic member
A torque wrench with elastic member includes a tubular body in which an elastic member is disposed for adjusting the torque value of the torque wrench. The elastic member is in the form of a plate body having a front connection section, a rear connection section and at least one bent section positioned between the front and rear connection sections. The front and rear connection sections of the elastic member respectively abut against a click mechanism disposed in front of the elastic member and an adjustment mechanism disposed behind the elastic member, whereby the elastic member can be compressed or released to adjust the torque value of the torque wrench. The elastic member has a novel structure and can ensure the stability of the torque wrench in use and enhance the utility of the torque wrench.
Torque limiting ratchet wrench
A fastener driving device including an elongate shaft extending between the driving head and the handle is provided that has a torque limiting mechanism disposed partially within the handle and extending through the elongate shaft into engagement with the driving head. The torque limiting mechanism enables the driving head to drive the fastener into the substrate without exerting more than a predetermined maximum torque on the fastener, thereby avoiding damage from being done to the fastener and/or the substrate. A ratcheting mechanism is disposed within a torque gear of the torque limiting mechanism to provide a ratcheting function to the tool with a small profile for the tool.
Multifunctional torque wrench
A multifunctional torque wrench includes a main body, an operation member, and an indication device. The main body has a driving portion, a combination portion, and a twisting portion. The driving portion pivotally drives a fastener to rotate about an axis passing through the main body. The operation member is switchable between a first position and a second position with respect to the main body. The extension portion extends along a second axis. When the operation member is at the first position, the second axis is vertical to the first axis, allowing a user to turn the main body to generate the torque for driving a fastener. The indication device is disposed between the main body and the operation member for displaying the torque value. When the operation member is at the second position, the second axis is parallel to the first axis for storage.
TORQUE TOOL
A torque tool is provided, including: a main body, defining an axial direction, an end of the main body on the axial direction including a working portion, the working portion being freely rotatable when receiving a torque larger than a predetermined torque; a torque assembly, including an abutting assembly, the abutting assembly being non-rotatably and slidably disposed in the main body in the axial direction for adjusting the predetermined torque; a shaft, including a first threaded portion and a second threaded portion, the first threaded portion and the second threaded portion extending spirally in opposing directions, the first threaded portion being screwed to the main body, the second threaded portion being screwed to the abutting assembly; an adjusting assembly, disposed on the main body and rotatable about the axial direction, connected with and non-rotatable relative to the shaft.
Multiple Slope or Multiple Offset Tool Mechanism
Use of multiple-slope and/or multiple-offset mechanism or equivalent to address the issues with current mechanical clickers that have single-slope spring mechanism. The varying-slope can be a continuously varying-slope non-linear spring, or a combination of discretely varying multiple-slope springs. This inventor is useful for clicker type torque wrenches, clicker type torque screw drivers, beam type torque wrenches, beam type torque screw drivers and shock absorbers. The present invention is equally applicable to clickers that click in both the CW (clockwise) and CCW (counterclockwise) directions or clickers that click only in one direction. The invention is generally characterized by placing a non-linear spring or combination of springs in the tool body to achieve multiple slope operation rather than using one single slope spring.
HAIR CLIPPERS WITH FLEXING ELECTRICALLY ADJUSTABLE BLADES
A flex clipper provides a feature to help the cutting blade set float more effortlessly by adjusting automatically to the contours of a client's head to prevent getting stuck and causing cuts and irritation to the scalp. The hair clipper preferably also uses a self-contained motor-driven pivotable adjustment mechanism to adjust the relative position of the stationary and reciprocating blades of a common type of blade set. One or more on/off switches operable by the thumb of the hand holding the clipper to afford a barber total automatic adjustment with the clipper itself in an on or off condition.
TORQUE WRENCH
A torque wrench includes a body and a measuring device. The body includes a head portion and a rod portion. An end of the rod portion is connected with the head portion. The measuring device includes a strain gauge seat and a strain gauge. The strain gauge seat is arranged in the rod portion and is provided with a first recess and a deformation portion adjacent to the first recess. The strain gauge is connected to the deformation portion, thereby obtaining a precise torque value.
Torque wrench
A torque wrench is provided, including a main body, a driving portion, a positioning member, a torque adjusting assembly and a tripping assembly. The main body defines an axial direction. The driving portion is disposed on an end of the main body. The positioning member is fixedly disposed in the main body. The torque adjusting assembly includes an abutting member and a mandrel, and the mandrel is disposed in the main body, rotatable about the axial direction and screwed to the abutting member. The tripping assembly includes an elastic abutting member and a plurality of notches arranged circumferentially one of the elastic abutting member and the plurality of notches is disposed on the mandrel, and the other of the elastic abutting member and the plurality of notches is disposed on the positioning member.
Ratcheting box torque wrench
A ratcheting box torque wrench is provided. The wrench includes a head and a handle connected to the head. The head has a slipping torque limiter that applies torque to a fastener in a first direction (T) up to a torque limit before slipping in the first direction (T) and ratchets in a second direction (R).
