T handle torque wrench with slip function
Wrenches, apparatus, devices and methods of using a T handles with a torque wrench with adjustable torque setting controls having an automated slip function for applications such as for motorcycles, automotive, machinery and the like. The wrench allows for a user to pull up a lock feature which allows the user to selectively set a torque value by rotating the handle. Once a torque setting is made, the lock is pushed down and the wrench can be used to tighten fasteners, such as bolts, nuts, and the like. While tightening, the fastener, the wrench goes into a slip function when the setting has been reached, so that the fasteners, cannot be stripped.
Slip type torque wrench
A slip type torque wrench has a driving head. The driving head includes a fixing seat and a guiding seat therein. The fixing seat is provided with a rolling member. The guiding seat is provided with a press member. The press member is biased by an elastic unit to abut against the rolling member. A peripheral side of the guiding seat is formed with a guiding slope. The driving head has a tightening hole. A tightening member is locked to the tightening hole. One end of the tightening member abuts against the guiding slope and pushes the guiding seat for tightening the fixing seat. Thereby, the rolling member and the press member stably operate to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the output torque.
TORQUE ADJUSTMENT SWITCHING STRUCTURE OF TORQUE WRENCH
A torque adjustment switching structure of a torque wrench is characterized by: a screw hole seat, which is located in the rear section of the torque wrench extension shank; the axial actuating sleeve can be axially advanced and retracted; the rear pull sleeve can be forced against the axial actuating sleeve. The axial movement and the rotary motion: the clutch member has a snapping mode and a disengagement mode with the sliding forward and backward of the backward pulling sleeve; and the rearward pulling sleeve presents a force for axial advance and retreat with respect to a screw, and rotates. The timing mechanism is configured to drive the synchronous rotation of the screw. The limiting member is disposed at a corresponding portion of the screw and the rear sliding sleeve to generate a limiting force for the axial backward sliding state of the backward pulling sleeve.
Base for disposable selectable torque limiting device
A unitary base for a torque limiting device is disclosed. The base accepting a plurality of swappable torque limiting fixtures (STLF), whereby a single unitary disposable plastic base may be utilized to form a variety of different specific torque limiting devices and a method to construct and configure such a device.
BENDABLE TORQUE WRENCH
A bendable torque wrench includes: a shank; a tubular body whose front end is angularly displaceable with respect to the shank about an axis defined by a first pivotal connection end of the shank; an abutting block located on one side of the tubular body, a the front end of the abutting block has a convexly curved abutting surface; and a detent member whose front end is pivotally connected to a second pivotal connection end of the shank and whose rear end forms a convexly curved contact surface in elastic contact with the curved abutting surface of the abutting block. The torque wrench bends, or collapses, rapidly when the torque applied to the torque wrench reaches a preset torque value.
Grounding clamps and torque-controlled fasteners
Various implementations of grounding clamps and torque-controlled fasteners are disclosed. The grounding clamps may be used to attach grounding conductors to various structures, such as pipes, conduit, grounding rods etc. The torque-controlled fasteners may use various techniques to control the amount of torque applied to the fasteners used with the grounding clamps described herein.
Torque adjustment device for torque wrench
A torque adjustment device of a torque wrench includes a handle having a passage defined axially therethrough, and a driving head is connected to one end of the handle. A torque adjustment unit is located in the passage of the handle and includes a stationary member, a threaded shaft threadedly extending through the stationary member, a rotary member and a spring. The shaft includes a threaded rod that extends beyond the rotary member. A sleeve is mounted to the threaded shaft. A rotary unit includes a tube which has a mounting section and a threaded section on two ends thereof. By rotating the tube, the rotary member and the threaded shaft are rotated relative to the stationary member so as to compress the spring to set the output torque value. A knob is then threadedly connected to the threaded rod to secure the output torque value.
BACKUP WRENCHES
A reaction torque limiting backup wrench arrangement (1) has at least one fastener engaging means e.g. spanner (6) or socket (170), for a pressure boundary bolted joint nut (5) of a respective fastener (3). The backup wrench arrangement provides a reaction torque up to a threshold above which rotation allowed by motion of the fastener engaging means is determined by a magnitude of the reaction torque and force deflection characteristic of a biasing arrangement acting directly or indirectly on the fastener engaging means. Tension in the flexible tension element e.g. chain (7) urges the spanner (6) onto the nut (5) of the fastener permitting the spanner to displace when torque transmitted through a bolt to the nut or bolt head within the spanner exceeds a threshold torque, enabling the nut or bolt head to rotate, helping prevent bolt over-tightening, and helping indicate the bolt seizing or galling.
Torque wrench
A torque wrench including a head, a handle, a primary beam, a secondary beam, and a torque adjustment mechanism. The primary beam couples the head and the handle for co-rotation about the rotational axis and the primary beam includes a first end adjacent the head and a second end adjacent the handle. The secondary beam is coupled to the head for rotation with the head about the rotational axis and the secondary beam is movable relative to the primary beam and the handle. The torque adjustment mechanism adjusts a torque setting of the primary beam relative to the secondary beam. The torque adjustment mechanism includes a thumb adjustment wheel that a user rotates about a first axis to adjust the torque setting by moving the second end of the primary beam relative to the handle along a second axis offset from the first axis.
MEDICAL TORQUE HAND TOOL
The present invention provides a medical torque hand tool, which comprises a holding part, a torque adjusting device, a torque damping device, and a surgery tool. The holding part is disposed in a hollow member. The torque damping device is disposed in said holding part. The torque adjusting device passes through said holding part. The torque adjusting device and the torque damping device control the elastic deformation of an elastic member for controlling the torque of screwing an object.
