Spring Removal Tool for Air Brake Shoes
A tool for attaching and disengaging a retainer spring in a truck brake assembly comprises a handle, a supporting curved member, a stabilizing tab and a fulcrum rod that enables a mechanic to engage and move into place the retainer spring using a long bar. An optional lever bar with a partially closed hook may be used to more effectively control the retainer spring during the operation.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL INSTALLATION TOOL
A garbage disposal installation tool can support a garbage disposal at an installation position beneath a sink drain. The tool includes a hook configured to hang the garbage disposal from the hook and a suspender configured to suspend the hook beneath a connection point with the sink. The suspender can have an elastic segment that is extended during use to impart a biasing force that urges the garbage disposal toward a bottom portion of the sink. The suspender can also be a flexible suspension line that includes a plurality of connectors at spaced apart locations for connecting the suspender to the sink at respective locations. The tool can include a brace configured to rest on the sink over the drain opening. The brace can include a slot that defines the connection point and is arranged to be in communication with the drain opening when the brace rests on the sink.
Power tool to spring torsioner converter
A device to apply a rotational force to a spring of a rollup or overhead garage door counterbalancing mechanism. The device has a rotatable driven member mounted in a housing. The housing and the driven member have slots with an open end adapted to receive the shaft of the overhead garage door counterbalancing mechanism. A coupling member is configured to mount to the driven member and connect the driven member to the winding cone of a garage door spring to apply rotational force to the spring. The housing with the driven member may be connected to the body of an existing power tool in place of the original tool head, or, the housing may be permanently combined with a motor and transmission to provide a special purpose tool.
Automotive hood spring installer/remover tool
An apparatus to install or remove tension coil springs from spring seat. Apparatus spans beyond the length of a tension coil spring allowing connection to spring ends with a loop and or hook on a threaded shaft. Applying a turning force to threaded shaft will stretch spring to a longer length allowing removal of spring from spring seat. A turning force in opposite direction retracts spring to shorter length allowing installation of spring to spring seat.
TORSION SPRING TENSIONING TOOL
Torsion spring tensioning tool (100) for tensioning a torsion spring of a counterbalancing mechanism of an overhead door, wherein the torsion spring tensioning tool (100) comprises a housing (80), a gear wheel arrangement (20) adapted to be mounted on a shaft of the counterbalancing mechanism, said gear wheel arrangement (20) comprising a gear wheel (21) rotatably arranged in the housing (80), the torsion spring tensioning tool (100) further comprising a gear mechanism (54) coupled to the gear wheel (21) for rotating said gear wheel (21). The gear wheel arrangement (20) comprises a first and second engaging arrangement (32, 60) arranged to be fixed relative to the gear wheel (21).
