DRIVING DEVICE
A driving device includes: a main body; a striking part movably supported by the main body; a handle protruding from the main body; and a nose part attached to the main body and holding a fastener before being hit by the striking part, the nose part movably accommodating the striking part and having an injection path for guiding the fastener and an injection port connecting with the injection path and firing the fastener, an opening extending from the injection port toward the handle being provided on a handle side of the injection path, and a width of the opening being larger than an outer diameter of a head of the fastener in a plan view perpendicular to a linear moving direction of the striking part.
Compliant tip for a fastening tool
A compliant tip member for a fastening tool that includes a body having compressible and protective properties includes a forward section, a rearward section longitudinally opposite to the forward section and lateral sides connecting the forward and rearward sections. The compressible feature is in the form of a compression portion that forms at least a portion of the forward section. The compliant tip member forward section is compressible relative to the rearward section due to projections, such as wings or lobes that deform when the forward section is pressed against a workpiece by the nose of the fastening tool. The compliant tip member includes a recess within a surface between the forward section and the rearward section. The recess is shaped to receive the nosepiece of the fastening tool.
PROTECTIVE SHIELD FOR USE WITH A STAPLE GUN
A staple gun and a method of using the same. A stapling mechanism in the housing is activated to deliver a staple through an aperture in a housing wall and drive the staple into a surface around a stack of one or more electric cables. The gun includes a reciprocating cable guide for centering the gun on the stack of cables and closing a safety switch to permit the gun's trigger to be activated. A spacer extending outwardly from the housing wall rests on the upper surface of the cable stack. The spacer and a bumper that engages a hammer of the stapling mechanism provide for automatic depth adjustment when driving the staple into the surface. A reciprocating cable guard extending outwardly from the housing wall is positioned between the stack of cables and the staple to aid in preventing the staple from piercing the cable.
Compressed air nailer with automatic operating mode and a placing sensor
A compressed air nailer comprises a working piston connected to a driving tappet and configured to drive in a fastener and a triggering apparatus. The triggering apparatus comprises a manually actuable trigger, a placing sensor, and a force transmission element configured to interact with the manually actuable trigger and the placing sensor to actuate a control valve and trigger the driving process when the manually actuable trigger and the placing sensor are actuated together. The compressed air nailer is configured to continuously drive in fasteners in an automatic operating mode when the manually actuable trigger and the placing sensor are permanently actuated, and wherein displacing the placing sensor from the second position into the first position does not actuate the control valve when the manually actuable trigger is in an actuated position when the placing sensor is displaced.
Nail gun nozzle mechanism and nail gun having the same
A nail gun nozzle mechanism includes a clamping wall, a retaining wall, and a switch unit. The clamping wall defines a firing space. The retaining wall defines a withdrawn space that is in spatial communication with the firing space. The switch unit includes a linkage member, and a bracket member. The bracket member is movable relative to the clamping wall between a firing position, where the bracket member is distal from the clamping wall and is disposed in the withdrawn space, and a non-firing position, where the bracket member is proximate to the clamping wall and blocking at least a portion of the firing space. The linkage member resiliently biases the bracket member toward the non-firing position.
APPARATUS FOR INSTALLING FASTENERS AND EXPLOSIVE LOADS FOR USE THEREWITH
A bracket for attachment to an overhead substrate to carry a suspending wire or rod is formed from metal plate or strap stock having a bend connecting a first generally rectangular section of the stock with a second generally rectangular section of the stock. The first generally rectangular section of stock has a dimple formed on one side of the stock with a corresponding bulge protruding from the other side. The bulge protrudes alongside the second generally rectangular section of stock. The bulge has a base and an apex, a generally conical outside surface adjacent to the first generally rectangular section of stock and a through aperture at the apex. The bracket is applied with a tool that can be provided with a washer system to accommodate different fastener lengths and a safety to deactivate the triggering mechanism.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A fastener driver includes a housing defining a head portion and a handle portion, a drive mechanism positioned within the housing, and a firing mechanism. The firing mechanism includes a primary guide member supported within the head portion of the housing, a secondary guide member spaced from the primary guide member and supported within the head portion of the housing, a piston slidable along the primary guide member and the secondary guide member, a driver blade attached to the piston and configured to be movable along a drive axis, and a biasing member configured to move the piston and the driver blade from a top dead center (TDC) position toward a bottom dead center (BDC) position. A lifter assembly is operated by the drive mechanism to return the piston and the driver blade towards the TDC position, against the bias of the biasing member.
The bulge has a base and an apex, a generally conical outside surface adjacent to the first u) generally rectangular section of stock and a through aperture at the apex. The bracket is applied with a tool that can be provided with a washer system to accommodate different fastener lengths and a safety to deactivate the triggering mechanism.
DRIVING-IN DEVICE
An apparatus for driving a fastening element in a driving direction into a base material, having a receptacle for the fastening element, from which the fastening element is driven into the base material, having a magazine for supplying fastening elements in a transport direction to the receptacle, wherein the side of the magazine facing the driving direction has a slot which runs in the transport direction, and having a dust deflector which covers the slot.
DRIVING-IN DEVICE
An apparatus for driving a fastening element into a base material, comprising a power unit and a driving element which is provided driven by the power unit in a driving direction from a starting position into a setting position to drive a fastening element into the base material; a braking element with a contact surface which defines the setting position of the driving element and against which the driving element lies in the setting position; a pressing element which has an end surface which can be pressed in the driving direction onto the base material, wherein, in the driving direction, the end surface and the contact surface are at a distance from each other which defines a driving depth of the fastening element into the base material; and, an adjustment device with which the distance between the end surface and the contact surface can be adjusted.
