STAPLE PUSHER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF INSTALLING SAME

A stapler includes a base, a magazine coupled to the base and configured to house staples, and a staple pusher assembly coupled with the magazine and operable to bias staples in the magazine toward a first end of the magazine where staples are driven out of the magazine. The staple pusher assembly includes a staple pusher defining a cavity, and a constant force spring having a first end coupled to the magazine and a second end that is coiled within the cavity in the staple pusher.

POWERED FASTENER DRIVER

A fastener driver includes a magazine having a magazine cover and a magazine body. The magazine cover includes a top surface having an opening defined therein. The magazine body is slidably movable relative to the magazine cover from a closed position to an open position. A latch is coupled to the top surface of the magazine cover and extends through the opening in the top surface of the magazine cover. The latch includes a latch projection that defines a first contact surface. A pusher body is slidably coupled to the magazine body and includes an arm member that defines a second contact surface. A biasing member biases the pusher toward a nosepiece when the magazine body is in the closed position. The first and second contact surfaces are engageable to hold the pusher body in a latched position when the magazine body is in the open position.

STAPLER

A stapler includes an elongated channel body pivotably attached to a base, and an elongated magazine track coaxially disposed in and movable relative to a channel of the channel body in a front-and-rear direction between first and second positions. One of the channel body and the magazine track has a bottom wall on which a resilient damping member is disposed, while the other one thereof has a bottom wall which is formed with a frictionless segment, a friction-increasing segment and a stop segment. A friction end of the damping member is disposed at the frictionless segment in the first position, and is slidably moved on and frictionally engaged with the friction-increasing segment and stopped on the stop segment in the second position.

The present invention provides a multifunctional stapler including a housing, a nailing portion arranged at a front end of the housing, and a toggling device, a part of which being arranged inside the housing and a part of which extending to the outside of the housing. The nailing portion comprises: a staple feeding member arranged at a front end of the bottom of the housing, a staple feeding groove arranged on the surface at one side of the staple feeding member for receiving staples, a striking member, a part of which being inserted into the staple feeding groove, the toggling device controlling the striking member to strike the staples, and an adjusting device, a part of which being arranged outside the housing, for adjusting a depth of the staple feeding groove.

Fastening Tool Nail Stop

A fastening tool having a nail stop which positions a nail for driving and is made at least in part of a contact material which can be investment cast and/or hardened. The contact material can resist wear from the action of driving the nail and the movement of a driver blade. The nail stop can be configured to align nails fed from a magazine and can be offset from the longitudinal centerline of the fastening tool. The nail stop can have a head contact length which is 0.5% to 95% of the length of the nail to be driven. The nail stop is used in methods for positioning a nail for driving.

Stapler with moveable strike plate and integrated accessibility features

A stapler including a moveable strike plate and accessibility features is described. A slidable strike plate is moveable from a first staple forming position to a second staple forming position to form different staple shapes. The slidable strike plate is moved relative to the anvil of the stapler with a single hand to change positions. A rotatable strike plate is turned with a single hand to move between staple forming positions by rotating an outer dial of the rotatable strike plate relative to the anvil of the stapler. The stapler includes an indicator window that shows if the stapler is empty or running low on staples and a quick release staple loading magazine that is operable using a single hand.

A stapler includes a base, a handle pivotably connected to the base, and a magazine unit having a channel body which is pivotably attached to the base, a magazine body which is coaxially disposed to and movable relative to the channel body in a lengthwise direction, and a magazine ejection spring disposed to bias the magazine track to make an ejection movement. The magazine unit further has a damping module disposed on the magazine track and having two spring-biased damping members which are movable relative to the magazine track to be slidably moved on and frictionally engaged with inner wall surfaces of two outer lateral wails of the channel body so as to retard the ejection movement of the magazine track.

A stapler includes a handle unit connected to a driver unit by a transmission shaft portion provided between a fulcrum shaft portion and a driver, and configured to move the driver unit; a camshaft provided to a clincher unit; a cam groove portion provided to the handle unit, configured to permit the camshaft to enter, and having one open end portion to enable to the camshaft to be inserted/pulled out; a guide convex portion provided to the clincher unit, and a guide concave portion provided to the handle unit and configured to restrict a movement path of the handle unit with respect to the clincher unit.

MAGAZINE WITH LOCKBACK PUSHER FOR USE WITH STAPLING DEVICE

A fastener magazine of a fastening device may include a track defining an elongated channel with a dispensing end at which fasteners are dispensed from the magazine. A runner positioned in the track may include a release member that projects outward from an outer surface of the runner. A pusher may be positioned in the track and coupled to the runner such that the pusher exerts a force in a direction toward the dispensing end of the track on the fasteners when the runner is in a closed position. A retention member that is attached to a side wall of the track can engage the pusher through an aperture in the track to prevent the pusher from contacting the fasteners until the runner has reached a desired position in the track. The release member can contact the retention member to disengage the retention member from the pusher.

Fastening tool assembly

A fastening tool assembly has a magazine body in a sleeve to convey fasteners to a housing outlet. Pivoting a lever relative to the housing, translates a knife to a loaded position, thereby disengaging from the knife, permitting a spring to return the knife to an unloaded position to drive a fastener through the outlet. A handle is pivotally connected to the housing. A roller is directly connected to the lever and the handle for permitting translation of the lever relative to the handle as the lever and the handle are pivoted relative to the housing. A spring-loaded bracket is operably connected to the magazine body for translation and rotation relative to the body. A latch is mounted to the housing to engage the bracket and maintain the magazine body in a retracted position, and is movable to a disengaged position wherein the bracket extends from the magazine body.
