A slide tray has a rectangular tray bottom having a left side, a right side, a front and a back. The rectangular tray bottom has a matrix of cutouts. This matrix of cutouts is configured such that slide tray may receive any one of several different modular toolboxes, regardless of the footprint of the modular toolbox. A plurality of slide trays may be attached between a left wall and a right wall, with each slide tray being attached to the left wall and right wall by telescoping slide rails.

Utility Assembly and Coupling Mechanism

The present disclosure concerns a coupling mechanism for detachably attaching two or more utility modules to one another, utility assembles, mobile carriers and other attachable modules and articles.

TOOL CONTAINER SYSTEM

A tool container system includes a first tool container and a second tool container. The first tool container has a first base, a first cover pivotably attached to the first base by a first hinge portion, a first base locking member coupled to the base, a first cover locking member coupled to the first cover, and a first latch coupled to the first base and moveable between a first unlocked position in which the first cover is movable relative to the first base between a closed position and an open position, and a first locked position in which the first latch engages the first cover locking member and the first cover is locked to the first base in the closed position. The second tool container is stackable on the first cover of the first tool container and having a second locking member. When the second tool container is stacked on the first tool container, the second tool container is lockable to the first tool container when the first latch is moved to the first locked position to engage both the first cover locking member and the second locking member.

Automated tool control device managed in a tool crib management system

The present application describes an automated inventory control system that comprises a storage device, a sensing system, a data storage, and one or more processors. The storage device includes a plurality of storage locations for storing objects. The sensing system is configured to associate the storage device with a first location and with a second location. The data storage is configured to store configurable data of the storage device. The one or more processors are configured to send configurable data corresponding to the first location to the storage device in response to receiving information associating the storage device with the first location from the sensing system. In response to receiving information associating the storage device with the second location from the sensing system, the one or more processors are configured to send configurable data corresponding to the second location to the storage device.

ADJUSTABLE TOP TOOLBOX

The present invention relates to a top toolbox to provide additional storage on top of a toolbox without eliminating the workbench of the toolbox. The top toolbox is comprised of a cabinet, a frame guide, and lifting means to adjust the cabinet from a resting position in which the cabinet covers the frame guide to a raised position allowing access under the cabinet within the perimeter of the frame guide.

Monitoring of tool calibration status in automated tool control systems

A calibration monitoring system is provided to automatically monitor the calibration status of tools and other inventory items, such as upon the items being issued from or returned to the automated calibration monitoring system. The system identifies an inventory item, for example a calibrated torque wrench or other calibrated tool identified based on a unique identifying tag attached thereto. The system retrieves a calibration parameter value for the item from a calibration database, and completes a calibration measurement of the item based on the calibration parameter value. In the example, a torque measurement of the calibrated torque wrench can thus be automatically completed. In turn, the system determines a current calibration status of the item based on the calibration measurement, and selectively enables or disables issuance of the inventory item from the system according to the item's status as being in calibration or out of calibration.
