System and method for cutting a wet green ceramic article
A system for cutting a wet green ceramic article which includes a power device to generate power and a transmission assembly including an input and an output. The input is operably coupled to the power device such that power is transferred through the transmission assembly from the input to the output. The system also includes a cutting tool holder that holds a cutting tool. The cutting tool holder is coupled to the output and pivotally coupled to a pivot point. The output of the transmission assembly pivots the cutting tool holder about the pivot point as the cutting tool reciprocates in a cutting motion between a first position and a second position.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING FISH PRODUCT
An arrangement and method for slicing a fish fillet. The arrangement comprises a slicing space which is isolated from its surroundings and unmanned, receiving means for receiving a cutting platform comprising a fish fillet (10) into the cutting space, said cutting platform being fillet specific so that it is arranged to be replaced with the fish fillet (10) adapted on it, a cutting blade (9), which is non-rotating and adapted in the slicing space, a cutting actuator adapted to bring the cutting blade (9) into a linear cutting movement in relation to the cutting platform to detach a slice from the fish fillet (10), and transfer means arranged to transfer the blade to such a position in relation to the cutting platform where the subsequent slice is cut off from the fish fillet (10).

CUTTING DEVICE FOR ELONGATED WORKPIECES
A cutting device for cutting-off pieces from an elongated workpieces, in particular a tube, having a proximal side, a distal side and a longitudinal axis extending between the proximal and distal side. The cutting device includes a cutting unit having a blade coupled with a blade drive. The blade is reversibly movable via the blade drive between retracted and advanced blade positions. The cutting device includes a proximal support structure arranged with respect to the longitudinal axis proximal of the blade and is configured to guide a distal part of the workpiece to be movable in parallel to and aligned with the longitudinal axis. The cutting device includes a feeder unit including a suction gripper configured for suction-coupling with the elongated workpiece. The feeder unit includes a suction gripper drive, coupled with the suction gripper, configured for moving the suction gripper parallel to the longitudinal axis in a reversible manner.
Methods for composite filament fabrication in three dimensional printing
Various embodiments related to three dimensional printers, and reinforced filaments, and their methods of use are described. In one embodiment, a void free reinforced filament is fed into an conduit nozzle. The reinforced filament includes a core, which may be continuous or semi-continuous, and a matrix material surrounding the core. The reinforced filament is heated to a temperature greater than a melting temperature of the matrix material and less than a melting temperature of the core prior to drag the filament from the conduit nozzle.
Device and method for cutting plastic material, in particular a laminated glazing element
A device for cutting a flexible material of plastic type, laminated between two substrates and overhanging the edges of the substrates, includes a cutting tool and a pulling tool arranged upstream of the cutting tool.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF POST-CURE PROCESSING OF COMPOSITE CORE
A method of cutting a wafer of composite core from a bulk composite core includes stabilizing the bulk composite core with a fixture, the bulk composite core having a plurality of tube members. The method also includes cutting through each of the tube members to create the wafer while the bulk composite core is stabilized by the fixture.
Rotary cutter
A rotary cutter system for cutting a web of material being feed into the rotary cutter at a press speed that includes a cutting cylinder, an anvil cylinder and a servo motor. The rotary cutter includes a controller that controls the speed of rotations of the cylinders. Control of the speed of cutting and anvil cylinders allows for the adjustment of the cut length of the material without having to adjust the position of knives in the cutting cylinder.
Cutting knife
An inspection and cutting apparatus which employs a reciprocally moveable cutting knife includes an elongated main body having opposite ends; and a protrusion is integral with the elongated main body, and which inhibits an adhesive force from being created between the outside facing surface of the elongated main body, and the adjacent sidewalls of a knife guidance track when a source of water wets the outside surface of the elongated main body and the adjacent spaced sidewalls of the knife guidance channel.
