Saw dust collection system for panel and other saws
A panel saw is disclosed. The panel saw may include a support element, a frame, a movable saw, and a channel. The support element may support a bottom edge of a panel. The frame may support a face of the panel. The movable saw may cut the panel from a top edge of the panel to the bottom edge. The channel may be in the frame, behind the movable saw, and open toward the face of the panel. The bottommost portion of the channel may include a vacuum connection. The topmost portion of the channel may be open such that when a vacuum source is coupled with the vacuum connection, and the face of the panel is supported by the frame, air moves through the channel from the topmost portion to the vacuum connection.

Panel saw and method of operation
The invention is a method for operating a panel saw of a framework supporting a set of beveled railings, the railings being held in a parallel and spaced apart orientation to one another and to the framework; a carriage having at least two pairs of opposing beveled carriage side edges and at least one tool securing apparatus, one pair of opposing carriage side edges reversibly removably engages the set of railings to movably locate the carriage between the set of railings; wherein the carriage moves in and out of contact with the railings through the top ends of the railings to allow the one pair of carriage side edges to be moved out of contact with the set of railings while alternately allowing the remaining pair to reversibly engage the set of railings in a manner that lets permits the carriage move along the railings in a self-centering manner.

PANEL CUTTER WITH EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE CLAMPING SYSTEM
A panel cutter has a clamping mechanism positioned adjacent to the cutting path to hold the panel material in position during the cutting process. The clamping mechanism includes a clamping bar which is removably coupled to a pair of lever mechanisms which are rotatably coupled to the framework of the panel cutter. An actuator bar having cams at both ends is also coupled to the framework and position adjacent to the lever arms, wherein movement of the actuator bar causes movement of the lever arms. Based upon the configuration and positioning of these components, movement of the lever arms causes the clamping bar to move between a locked position and an unlocked position.

Speed strut clamp
A strut channel clamp includes a block that can be positioned anywhere along the length of the strut channel. In embodiments, the stop can be repositioned to any of a plurality of locations along the channel. In certain embodiments, the stop and block can be placed on different surfaces of the strut channel. In some embodiments, a threaded shaft engaged with the block imparts force against the stop, and in some of these embodiments the shaft can be disengaged quickly from the block and repositioned longitudinally without rotation thereof. In various embodiments, the stop and/or block are constructed partly or entirely from common, off-the-shelf strut channel accessories. In embodiments, the block is rotatable.
SINGLE-OPERATOR MULTI-FUNCTION FOLDABLE TRANSPORTER
A system is disclosed including a transporter, having a top load bearing surface or bed, and four wheeled articulating legs, that may be operated by a single user/operator, and can be lowered or raised by changing the lengths or angles of its legs while maintaining the transporter bed level. The legs that may be folded up to be loaded onto or unloaded from a truck bed, or a stationary platform, by a single operator while carrying heavy load. The loading and unloading process is assisted by various safety brakes that prevent accidental slippage of the transporter off the truck bed. The legs' angles are changed using a dual-threaded lead screw. The transporter further includes two edge detectors on the front-end and the rear-end to detect the edge of the truck bed automatically, and prepare the folding of the transporter legs for loading onto the truck bed.

Saw Assembly for a Metal Workpiece and Method for Sawing the Same
A saw assembly for cutting a metal workpiece and method for cutting the same holds a metal workpiece at a substantially vertical or a slightly tilted orientation relative to vertical axis while cutting a cross section of the metal workpiece. The saw assembly includes a frame for retaining and cutting the workpiece. The workpiece to be cut slides laterally across low friction support bars and rollers on the frame to achieve a desired sawing position relative to a saw subassembly. A blade assembly is raised and lowered through a saw pulley system guided by guiderails and blade assembly mounting mechanism.
