Snap On Weedless Lure Head
One example embodiment includes a portion of an assembly when securing fishing line to a hook. The embodiment includes a method for a snap-on assembly to a hook. The embodiment may also allow for vertical swivel motion along a fixed axis once affixed to the hook. The embodiment is made of a flexible plastic material that allows the snap feature to expand and contract back to its original shape after attaching. The embodiment further includes an internal pocket for properly aligning and securing the eye of the hook. Furthermore, the embodiment provides a pocket that covers the leading edge of a soft plastic artificial bait.
FISHING LURE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A fishing lure has a composition of substances which has a protein, a polysaccharide, a polyhydric alcohol and water, wherein the weight percentages of protein are between 15 wt % and 35 wt. %, of polysaccharide between 0.5 wt % and 3 wt %, of polyhydric alcohol between 35 wt % and 75 wt %, and of water between 15 wt % and 35 wt % in the composition of substances. Furthermore, a fabrication process for a fishing lure which degenerates in water and which is also non-toxic to organisms living in water, such as fish.
COMPRESSIBLE TOPWATER FLOATING LURE WITH ENHANCED HOOK GAP
A topwater floating lure comprises a body and at least one fishhook. The body has a density to float on water and is compressible to have a resting configuration and a compressed configuration in response to a fish bite. The body has at least one channel defined in an outer surface thereof. The at least one fishhook is connected to the body and cooperates with a corresponding one of the at least one channel. The fishhook comprises a shank, a bend and a point where a hook gap is defined between the point and the shank. The hook gap is occupied by part of the body in the resting position, and the shank is aligned with the corresponding channel and is displaced therein when the body moves to the compressed configuration to increase hook gap exposure.
Actuated fishing lure
an animated fishing lure is, generally disclosed. The fishing lure includes a shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator system, a lure body and a controller. The shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator system is generally positioned within the lure body and includes a flexible non-compressive base and an actuator wire made of SMA located on either side of the base. Each actuator wire is connected to a controller. Inducing electrical current through the actuator wires generates heat and results in a contraction of the wire. The tension generated by wire contraction act on the flexible non-compressive base causing it to bend. By alternating electrical currents through each of the actuator wires the lure is alternatively bent from a right bent position to a left bent position repeatedly creating an oscillating motion.
Lure
The present disclosure relates to an artificial bait having certain physical characteristics that allow for it to remain forward-facing in the water to be quickly detected location- and direction-wise using sonar techniques. The characteristics of the bait also allow for it to engage in erratic darting action and remain in the water during retrieval for an extended period of time. Typically, the bait can include a body having a head portion, a tail portion, and a middle portion therebetween. A first attachment structure configured to receive a line can be located on or near the head portion. A hook structure can be inserted behind the first attachment structure, for example, on or near the middle portion of the body. The head portion can further include a portion of dense material therein.
