The present disclosure refers to a filling machine and to a method for filling a foodstuff which comprises at least two components to be mixed, particularly for sausage production. The foodstuff may be filled into a filling hopper of the filling machine and thoroughly mixed with a mixing cam. The mixing cam may be driven via its own drive at different speeds according to a specific speed profile while the foodstuff is conveyed out of the lower portion of the filling hopper via a conveying mechanism and is filled via a filling unit.

A casing brake assembly is provided for applying a frictional force to a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing being arranged on a filling tube of a production apparatus, like a clipping machine, which is used in the production of sausage-shaped products, like sausages, and for limiting the movement of said tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing at least while being filled. The casing brake assembly comprises a tubular support device for supporting at least one brake element having an at least approximately ring-shaped design. Method and device for simplified alignment of a filling machine for sausage production

The present disclosure relates to a method for aligning a filling machine and a respective filling machine. In the method, the height and/or the inclination of the filling machine is first measured according to an actual state. The measured values are transmitted to a calculation unit. The actual state of the height and/or the inclination is compared with a target state of the height and/or the inclination. The height and/or the inclination of the filling machine are then adjusted on the basis of the comparison.

The present invention relates to a clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products, like sausages, by filling a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing with filling material and closing said filled tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing. The clipping machine includes a filling tube through which the filling material is fed into said tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing which is stored on said filling tube, a casing brake assembly arranged on the filling tube for limiting the movement of the tubular packaging casing at least while being filled, gathering means for gathering said filled tubular packaging casing and for forming a plait-like portion thereto, and a clipping device for applying at least one closure means, like a closure clip, to the plait-like portion formed on the filled tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing in a closing region. The clipping machine further comprises a housing defining at least a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls of the clipping machine, for enclosing at least the clipping device and the gathering means. The housing includes at least one housing element arranged in the front wall of the housing for covering at least the closing region, wherein the at least one housing element is coupled to the clipping machine by a linking device including a shifting mechanism for reversibly shifting the housing element relative to the clipping machine, in a shifting direction, for granting access to the closing region of the clipping machine.

A piston is positioned at the tail end of a toothed piston rod and integrated as a whole; a DC motor drives an automatic shaft, the automatic shaft is meshed with the toothed piston rod through a gear train to drive the toothed piston rod to move up and down in a material cylinder, a meat outlet is formed at the bottom of the material cylinder, when the piston is arranged at the bottom of the material cylinder, the electric sausage filler has a lower limit; when the piston is arranged at the top of the material cylinder, the electric sausage filler has an upper limit; a lower limit signal detection element and an upper limit signal detection element are arranged on two sides of the toothed piston rod and correspond to an upper limit magnet strip and a lower limit magnet strip embedded on the toothed piston rod in an induction manner, and induction signals of the lower limit signal detection element and the upper limit signal detection element are sent to a control circuit which outputs a control signal to drive the DC motor to work. By virtue of the upper limit and the lower limit, the electric sausage filler is controlled to automatically fill sausages, overcurrent protection function is added in the control circuit for protecting the motor from stalling, so that a motor stalling protection device is omitted, and the cost is reduced; the sausage filling operation is simplified by virtue of the upper limit and the lower limit; and by virtue of the movement of the piston, the sausage filling process is fully automatic.

The clipping machine includes common drive means for commonly reversibly radially moving the gathering means from an opened position into a closed position for performing the gathering movement, and the clipping tools for applying said closure means on the plait-like portion and closing said closure means. The clipping machine further comprises single drive means for separately reversibly driving the second displacer unit for executing a movement in axial direction for forming the plait-like portion, at least partially independently from the common drive means. The clipping machine further comprises a control unit for controlling the single drive means at least partially independently from the common drive means and at least a first sensor associated with the common drive means and at least a second sensor associated with the single drive means, which are coupled to the control unit.
