DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLED MIXING OF FLUID TEXTURED MATERIAL ALONG A LINEAR PATH BY MEANS OF VARIABLE OHMIC CONTROL
The invention herein pertains to a device and system for controlled mixing of textured material along a linear path by means variable ohmic controls. The device comprising the following components: a dual auger unit wherein two linear augers are held within a single linear casing, each said linear augers having an increased diameter pitch along its length, perforations along the length of said single linear casing, electro-conductive plates attachable to each said perforation. The preferred embodiment of this invention is intended to be used for mixing pasta filata cheese curds to form a singular cheese mass with consistent texture. The device may also be used to mix other types of fluid textured material including food and non-food substances.
Method for producing rubber crumb, and rubber crumb
A process for manufacturing rubber crumb comprises the following steps: (a) suspending rubber granules having a given size in an autoclave (1) containing a supercritical fluid; (b) agitating the mixture for a predetermined time at constant pressure and constant temperature; (c) carrying out an isenthalpic expansion of the mixture from step (b) by spraying it through a nozzle (20).

Utilization of fine mineral matter in the conversion of non-biodegradable plastic and in remediation of soils polluted with non-biodegradable plastic
The disclosed invention describes a novel approach to the utilization of the fine mineral matter derived from coal and/or coal refuse (a by-product of coal refining) to convert a non-biodegradable plastic into a biodegradable plastic. The fine mineral matter could also be based on volcanic basalt, glacial rock dust deposits, iron potassium silicate and other sea shore mined deposits. The conversion of the non-biodegradable plastic into biodegradable plastic in soil further increases nutrients availability in soil with the transition metals released as a result of biodegradation of the biodegradable plastic.

Wood-plastic composites utilizing ionomer capstocks and methods of manufacture
An extruded composite adapted for use as a building material includes a core having a base polymer and a natural fiber in a substantially homogeneous mixture and an ionomer capstock. To improve adherence of the ionomer to a base polymer, the ionomer can be mixed with a similar or substantially similar base polymer prior to coextrusion with the core. Additionally, various additives may be mixed with the capstock material to improve visual aesthetics of the product and performance of the building material, especially over time.
Process for producing a bioplastics product
A process for producing a biomaterial product based on sunflower seed hulls/sunflower seed husks comprising providing or producing a sunflower plastic compound (SPC) compounded material (SPC PBS, SPC PBSA), wherein the material is obtained by compounding a sunflower seed hull material/sunflower seed husk material with a biodegradable plastic, for example polybutylene succinate (PBS), polybutylene succinate-adipate (PBSA), or the like. The SPC compounded material is preferably used for producing an injection molded product, for example biodegradable containers, packagings, films or the like, in particular coffee capsules, tea capsules, urns, cups, plant pots, flowerpots, or the like.
METHOD OF PRODUCING POWDER COATING MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a method of producing a powder coating material containing a fluororesin and a non-fluororesin. The method of producing a powder coating material includes kneading a raw material containing the fluororesin and the non-fluororesin with a kneading extruder equipped with a screw having a kneading zone, wherein a ratio of a length L.sub.K of the kneading zone to an effective length L.sub.S of the screw (L.sub.K/L.sub.S100) is 21.0 to 50.0%.
