ON-LINE SYNCHRONOUS REGISTERING CO-EXTRUSION SPC FLOOR AND PRODUCTION PROCESS THEREFOR
On-line synchronous registering co-extrusion SPC floor includes a base material layer, a decorative layer, and a wear-resistant layer. The decorative layer is arranged on the base material layer and provides patterns and designs. The wear-resistant layer is arranged on the decorative layer, is a transparent layer or a semi-transparent layer, and is provided with a concave-convex surface. The patterns or designs correspond to the concave-convex surface; the base material layer is composed of an elastic layer, a strength layer, and a stable layer, and shading is pressed on the bottom layer of the stable layer. Two co-extrusion lines are used for simultaneous extrusion to achieve an ABA three-layer effect of an SPC base material layer. A calender matches a synchronous registering system, and the patterns of the decorative layer are formed in a rolling manner.
Method of producing a composite material including three-dimensional (3D) graphene
A method for continuously producing a composite material is disclosed. In some implementations, the method includes supplying a thermoplastic resin having an initial density, mixing polypropylene-graft-maleic anhydride (PPgMA) formed of a plurality of interconnected PPgMA molecules throughout the thermoplastic resin, distributing a plurality of carbon particles throughout the thermoplastic resin and the plurality of interconnected PPgMA molecules, and forming, by rotational molding, the composite material based on a combination of the thermoplastic resin, the PPgMA, and at least some of the plurality of carbon particles.
Process and apparatus to make liquid silicone rubber compositions
Provided are an assembly and process for the continuous or semi-continuous preparation of addition-crosslinking liquid silicone rubbers and to liquid silicone rubber compositions made therefrom. Also disclosed are articles made from the liquid silicone rubber compositions.
EXTRUDER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STRAND
An extruder according to an embodiment includes: a screw configured to rotate around a rotation axis extending in one direction; a cylindrical cylinder extending in the one direction, the cylinder being configured to house the screw; a drive unit disposed at one end of the cylinder, the drive unit being configured to rotate the screw; a die disposed at the other end of the cylinder, the die being configured to discharge a raw material kneaded by the rotation of the screw a as a strand; an adjustment unit disposed between the cylinder and the die, the adjustment unit being configured to adjust a flow-velocity distribution of the raw material flowing into the die; and a detection unit configured to detect a discharge amount of the strand discharged from the die.
Quality inspection method and quality inspection system for unvulcanized rubber material, and production method and production system for unvulcanized rubber material
Provided are a quality inspection method and a quality inspection system for unvulcanized rubber material. A final dielectric constant measurement device detects the dielectric constant of a final rubber material in which a compounding agent of predetermined type is mixed with unvulcanized rubber, and a calculator calculates a compounding ratio of the compounding agent to the final rubber material based on the detected dielectric constant, determines whether or not the calculated compounding ratio is in a preset compounding reference range, displays a determination result on a monitor, and adjusts a ratio of the compounding agent fed into an extruder to the unvulcanized rubber such that the calculated compounding ratio is within the compounding reference range.
RESIN FILM MANUFACTURING DEVICE AND RESIN FILM MANUFACTURING METHOD
In a resin film manufacturing device according to an embodiment, a current state and a reward for a previously selected action are determined for each heat bolt based on a control error calculated from a thickness distribution of a resin film acquired from a thickness sensor. Then, control conditions, which are a combination of states and actions, are updated based on the reward, and a most appropriate action corresponding to the current state is selected from the updated control conditions. Then, the heater is controlled based on the most appropriate action.
METHODS OF PREPARING A COMPOSITE HAVING ELASTOMER AND FILLER
Disclosed herein are methods of preparing composites from solid elastomer(s) and wet filler(s), as well as products, including composites, vulcanizates, and articles therefrom. The wet filler can have a liquid content of at least 15%. A resulting composite comprises the filler dispersed in the elastomer at a loading of at least 20 phr with a filler yield loss of no more than 10%, wherein the composite has a liquid content of no more than 10% by weight based on total weight of said composite.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING BULKED CONTINUOUS FILAMENT FROM COLORED RECYLED PET
A system comprising: (1) a grinding unit configured to receive and grind recycled PET bottles into a group of polymer flakes comprising up to about ten percent colored polymer flakes and balance substantially clear polymer flakes; (2) a washing unit configured to wash the group of polymer flakes; and (3) an extruder configured to extrude material in a plurality of different extrusion streams. The extruder may be further configured to: (1) receive a concentrate-polymer mixture comprising a mixture of the polymer flakes and a color concentrate; (2) melt the concentrate-polymer mixture to produce a polymer melt; (3) reduce a pressure within the extruder; and (4) pass the polymer melt through the extruder so that the polymer melt is divided into the plurality of extrusion streams. The system may then filter the polymer melt through at least one filter and form the polymer melt into bulked continuous carpet filament.
Extruder with planetary roller section for cooling melts
Various measures increase the cooling effect on a planetary roller extruder section/module. Those measures include a choke being arranged at an outlet of the planetary roller extruder section or module, a distance between centerlines of adjacent planetary spindles being at least equal to an outer diameter of the planetary spindles, providing a pressurized melt supply, having a cooling section composed of several sections/modules, providing at least one section/module in which a flow, during melt supply is converse to the conveying direction of the extruder, and providing cooling tubes arranged within the central spindle.
