Machine for recycling tyres
11999080 · 2024-06-04 · ·

Machine for recycling tyres by recovering the tyre tread rubber using waterjets. The machine comprises a loading unit for loading a tread, a processing unit, the processing unit comprising a framework comprising a preprocessing zone, a processing zone and a postprocessing design. The preprocessing zone drives a cut tread towards the processing zone. The processing zone comprises a processing module designed to direct a waterjet onto the recovered tread. The preprocessing zone comprises motorized guide rollers and presence sensors arranged in such a way as to allow a second tread to catch up with a first tread in such a way as to reduce, to the point of closing up, the space between two treads.

METHOD FOR REGENERATING REINFORCING FIBERS
20190136414 · 2019-05-09 ·

A method for regenerating reinforced fiber includes binding a part of a composite member containing reinforcing fibers and resins oriented in directions different from each other along a direction intersecting a longitudinal direction of the composite member; removing the resins from the composite member; and separating unbound reinforced fibers from bound reinforced fibers among the reinforced fibers.

Waste carpet and felt scrap recycling apparatus and method thereof

A wasted carpet and felt scrap recycling apparatus is provided. The waste carpet and felt scrap recycling apparatus includes a feeding unit that feeds a cut scrap while forming a feeding path and a supply unit that is connected to the feeding path and supplies the scrap that passed the feeding unit along the feeding path while pressing the scrap. A separation unit is spaced apart from the supply unit, and provides a frictional force to one surface of the scrap supplied from the supply unit through rotation of the supply unit and separates the scrap into fiber and recycled material.

Machine and method for removing beads from tires at the end of life

Machine for extracting a cord made of metal material from a sidewall of a tire, being part of the sidewall and defining a support structure of said tire, including: a frame; support means for the tire configured to support said tire resting on one sidewall in a loading zone; a hook for extracting said cord from the sidewall of the tire; means for manipulating said hook, configured to manipulate the hook with respect to the frame in an extraction direction between a position for engagement with said tire in the loading zone and a position for disengagement from said tire and extraction of said cord; a command and control unit to command said means for manipulating the hook,: an element able to move with respect to the frame to detach the cord from the hook when the hook is in position for disengagement; and means for manipulating the movable element, to manipulate the movable element from a first position to a second position to carry out releasing of the cord from the hook.

Apparatus for Facilitating Peeling of Lined Containers

The disclosure relates to an apparatus for securely (and preferably reversibly) holding a container having a concave interior portion while a liner that abuts the concave interior portion 5 is removed from the container by peeling it therefrom. The apparatus includes a container holder having one or more holding surfaces, such as the interior of an orifice that extends through it. A holding surface (e.g., an O-ring or ridge) secures the container temporarily and reversibly, and prevents the container from disengaging from the container holder during peeling of the liner. An optional deflector can deflect a tab portion of the liner to facilitate its 10 removal from the container. After the liner is removed, the remaining portion of the container can be removed from the apparatus (e.g., and recycled).

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING SYSTEM TO RECYCLE CARPET
20180127562 · 2018-05-10 ·

An advanced manufacturing plant and process to efficiently deconstruct and recycle post-consumer carpet primarily in an aqueous environment. The water-based technology substantially eliminates airborne particulate emissions into the workplace and the environment. It also significantly increases the quality and quantity of the resources recovered from the carpet. In addition to recycling residential carpet, it also reclaims and recycles material from commercial broadloom carpet.

Removing Device for Removing a Junction Box From A Solar Cell Module
20250065455 · 2025-02-27 ·

A removing device for removing a junction box from a solar cell module includes a carriage mechanism and a removing mechanism mounted on a frame mechanism. The removing mechanism includes a seat regulating module, an aligning and holding seat module and a removing seat which is moved by the seat regulating module toward a back plate of a solar panel unit, and a removing driving module which drives movement of the removing seat toward the junction box along the back plate of the solar panel unit so as to move a cutting edge of the removing sear into a juncture between the junction box and the back plate and remove the junction box. An automatic removing process is performed, and damage to the solar panel unit is prevented.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SORTING STRING MATERIAL FROM WASTE
20170129637 · 2017-05-11 ·

Sorting string material from waste in a cyclic succession including a waste sorting stage and a string removal stage. In the waste sorting stage, a string catcher shaft carrying radially projecting string catching members is rotated, while feeding waste into contact with the rotating string catching members. The string catching members catch string material from the waste, winding-up the string material and allowing a remainder of the waste material to pass by. In the string removal stage, at least the string catching members or the string cutters pass closely, one along the other, the string cutters cutting off string material caught by the string catching members. Then, the string catcher shaft and the string cutting structure are returned into an operating position in which the string cutters are spaced from the string catching members. An apparatus and a rotor body for use therein are also described.

Robotic separation of plastics for chemical recycling

The invention comprises methods of robotically separating unwanted heteroatom-containing materials from a plastic mixture and catalytically pyrolyzing the resulting mixed plastics to obtain olefins and aromatics. Systems and compositions useful in the catalytic pyrolysis of plastics are also described.
