METHOD OF MOULDING AND MOULD TOOL
A method of moulding and apparatus therefor, in which a workpiece is preheated and/or post-cooled before and/or after a moulding process, allowing optimal use of the tool for high precision moulding operations.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING THIN LAYERS OF SLURRIES FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Additive manufacturing apparatus for providing a three dimensional object, and method for additive manufacturing of a three dimensional object (5). An exposure unit (11) is arranged to cure a layer of slurry onto an object (5) being formed, and a substrate (2) is arranged to receive a predetermined amount of slurry (4) and to position the predetermined amount of slurry (4) to an exposure position associated with the exposure unit (11). The substrate (2) comprises a slurry repellant layer (3) on a surface of the substrate (2). An object holder is provided for holding the object (5) being formed, and the object holder is arranged to press the object (5) being formed towards the substrate (2) into the predetermined amount of slurry (4) until a desired thickness of the layer for a next additive manufacturing step is reached.
Scalable tooling system using highly parallel convection heating for processing of high temperature composite materials
The present example provides a scalable tooling system using highly parallel convection heating for processing of high temperature composite materials. A single-sided mold is provided with vacuum pressure to cast and consolidate a raw material. The mold is integrally heated by a plurality of discretized heat sources providing a plurality of convection airflow sources to minimize the hot and cold spots inherit to typical convection oven processing. Airflow is arranged by orifices aligned conformally to the mold's profile surface such that rapid heating rates may be achieved while maintaining temperature control along the mold surface.
TAMPER RESISTANT DOSAGE FORMS
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical dosage forms, for example to a tamper resistant dosage form including an opioid analgesic, and processes of manufacture, uses, and methods of treatment thereof.

DRYING OVEN FOR CROSSLINKING A CONTINUOUS MAT OF MINERAL OR PLANT FIBERS
A drying oven for crosslinking a continuous mat of mineral or plant fibers includes a plurality of heating boxes through which the mat of fibers successively passes. At least one of the boxes includes, between an external insulating jacket of the drying oven and a central compartment of the box, an in-built hot-gas heating and recirculation device that includes at least one radial turbine mounted horizontally, the axis of rotation of which is arranged vertically, the turbine drawing hot gas along the axis through a gas outlet orifice of the central compartment after it has passed through the mat, and discharging it radially toward a recirculation device that recirculates the hot gas leaving the radial turbine to a gas inlet orifice of the compartment, and at least one heating device for heating the gas circulating in the box.
Forming device for thermoforming components
A forming device has a machine frame and a forming apparatus disposed on the machine frame. At least one heating chamber is disposed on the machine frame. A heatable support is received in the at least one heating chamber in a position of use for preheating semi-finished products and can be moved in a movement direction out of the at least one heating chamber into a removal position for removal of preheated semi-finished products from the support. In the removal position, the support is at least partially located adjacent to the machine frame and enables access to preheated semi-finished products. At least one heating device is associated with the at least one heating chamber and has one or more convection heating devices that discharge at least one directable heating air flow.
Tool temperature control
A mold tool (10) has a temperature management system having a first fluid based heater (18) heating a first side (12) of the tool, which exhausts to a fluid heater (34) on a second side of the tool (14) and is re-circulated back to the first side (12).
Vermiculite Alternative For Packaging Material
An apparatus and a method are provided for a latex-based packaging material configured to provide a dust-free alternative to vermiculite packaging materials. The latex-based packaging material comprises a portion of a latex-based waste formulated into a recycled latex emulsion, and a portion of particulate material into which the recycled latex emulsion is mixed so as to form a latex-based pulp. In some embodiments, additional components, such as any of various plasticizers, coloring agents, or hardeners, may be included in the latex-base pulp. The latex-based pulp is dispensed and dried so as to form the latex-based packaging material in a variety of desired shapes. Drying may be accomplished by way of unaided atmospheric evaporation, or by way of various conventional drying methods. In some embodiments, the desired shape of the packaging material comprises latex-based packaging peanuts suitable for separating and cushioning forces between containers during transportation in a larger container.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CURED RESIN FILM
[Problem] To provide a manufacturing method with which a cured resin film can be manufactured at high yield, and which effectively prevents the occurrence of defects such as wrinkles in the cured resin film.
[Solution] Provided is a cured resin film manufacturing method comprising: a first step in which an undried resin film is formed on a support, the undried resin film comprising a heat curable resin composition containing a curable resin and a solvent; a second step in which a curable resin film having a loss of 0.5-7 wt % on heating is formed by drying the undried resin film which has been formed on the support by using a float method to convey the undried resin, which is in the state of having been formed on the support, in a drying device; a third step in which a cured resin film is formed by heat curing the curable resin film; and a fourth step in which the support is detached from the cured resin film.
