System and method for a heating operation process control

Heating operation control includes obtaining sensor data indicating measured temperatures within a heating vessel during a heating operation; determining sets of thermal stack parameters. Each set of candidate thermal stack parameters is descriptive of a respective configuration of a thermal stack modeled by a first machine learning model to generate one or more estimated tool temperature values. The thermal stack includes the tool and a part coupled to the tool. Heating operation control also includes determining a temperature profile for the heating operation. The temperature profile is determined, via a second machine learning model, based on the plurality of sets of thermal stack parameters and one or more process specifications of the thermal stack.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPAIRING INSULATION FOR WIRING

An apparatus including a first hollow tube having an inner chamber and an outer peripheral surface, a cable having outer insulation and an inner conductor wire, and a hand held device for blowing hot air. The first hollow tube may have an inner diameter which is greater than an outer diameter of the cable so that the first hollow tube can be slid over the cable, so that a portion of the cable resides in the inner chamber of the first hollow tube in a first state. The cable may have a length which is substantially greater than a length of the first hollow tube. The hand held device for blowing hot air may be configured to blow hot air on the outer peripheral surface of the first tube, in the first state, to cause the first tube to shrink and become attached to the cable to repair a defect in the cable.

Treatment Fluid Guidance in a Film Stretching Plant

A film stretching plant is described, which comprises a furnace (3), which consists of several treatment zones (1, 1a) which each respectively comprise a ventilation unit (2). The film (4) is suppliable to the furnace (3) through a film inlet region (5) and is thermally treatable zone-wise in the treatment zones (1, 1a). The treatment fluid (6) supplied to the film stretching plant flows over the film (4) on its upper surface and its lower surface in the treatment zones (1, 1a). In the film stretching plant according to the invention, the treatment fluid (6) is circulatable in the respective treatment zone (1, a) by its associated respective ventilation unit (2) for the thermal treatment of the film (4), and a portion (6a) of the treatment fluid (6) is conveyed from the respective treatment zone (1) to the process-technically following treatment zone (1a). This portion (6a) of the treatment fluid (6) that is conveyed into the following treatment zone (1a) is conveyed decoupled from the passage region of the film (4) in the treatment zones (1, 1a), wherein the respective treatment zones (1, 1a) are equipped with a heat exchanger, by means of which the portion (6a) of the treatment fluid (6) conveyed to it is adaptable to the temperature that is process-technically required in this treatment zone for the thermal treatment of the film (4).

An apparatus and a method are provided for a latex-based packaging material configured to provide a dust-free alternative to vermiculite packaging materials. The latex-based packaging material comprises a portion of a latex-based waste formulated into a recycled latex emulsion, and a portion of particulate material into which the recycled latex emulsion is mixed so as to form a latex-based pulp. In some embodiments, additional components, such as any of various plasticizers, coloring agents, or hardeners, may be included in the latex-base pulp. The latex-based pulp is dispensed and dried so as to form the latex-based packaging material in a variety of desired shapes. Drying may be accomplished by way of unaided atmospheric evaporation, or by way of various conventional drying methods. In some embodiments, the desired shape of the packaging material comprises latex-based packaging peanuts suitable for separating and cushioning forces between containers during transportation in a larger container.
