Forming features in the surface of a bicycle component involves depositing a substance onto a substrate in a geometric pattern to form a transfer medium. Forming features may also involve positioning the transfer medium relative to an unformed bicycle component, and forming a negative of the geometric pattern in the bicycle component through the application of heat and/or pressure to the transfer medium and the unformed bicycle component. The transfer medium may be configured for use in the molding of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (“CFRP”) bicycle components and may include a substrate formed of a flexible material, and a geometric pattern formed of a hard material, the hard material different than the flexible material.

A polyolefin resin foam sheet includes a resin mixture as a base resin, the resin mixture including 0% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less of polyethylene resin, 30% by mass or more and 80% by mass or less of polypropylene resin, and 20% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less of a polyolefin elastomer, the polyolefin resin foam sheet fulfilling a range of −35% or more and 0% or less for dimensional changes in machine and transverse directions under heating for 10 minutes at a temperature 20° C. higher than a maximum melting point that is a highest melting peak in a differential scanning calorimetry.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL SELECTIVE REPAIRING SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND APPLICATION METHOD THEREOF
A three-dimensional selective repairing system, which is for selectively repairing an area of an unrepaired element by sintering, includes a scanning device, a comparing device, a spraying device and a sintering device. The scanning device is for scanning the area to obtain a repairing data. The comparing device is connected to the scanning device to receive the repairing data and produce a repairing parameter. The spraying device is controlled by the repairing parameter and includes an electrostatic generator which sprays a plurality of electrified pulverulent bodies through the electrostatic generator to form an electrified pulverulent film on a medium covered on the area. The sintering device is controlled by the repairing parameter to provide a power beam to selectively heat the electrified pulverulent film. The electrified pulverulent film melted or sintered to form a solid mass on the area.

The abrasion-resistant members may be formed from metal or ceramic. The substrate comprises a moldable matrix. The abrasion-resistant members are harder than the moldable matrix.

A physically crosslinked, closed cell continuous multilayer foam structure comprising at least one polypropylene/polyethylene coextruded foam layer is obtained. The multilayer foam structure is obtained by coextruding a multilayer structure comprising at least one foam composition layer, irradiating the coextruded structure with ionizing radiation, and continuously foaming the irradiated structure.

Method of making a flexible magnetized sheet
A method of making a flexible magnetized sheet is provided. The method may comprise the steps of (1) using cold extrusion to produce a highly viscous fluid magnetizable sheet, (2) passing the sheet through a magnetic field to create an uncured magnetized sheet, and (3) curing the sheet with electron beam curing. The fluid mixture may comprise magnetizable particles with a random charge orientation and an acrylic resin. The components of the mixture are cool when passed through an extrusion die. The extruded fluid sheet allows for the sheet to be magnetized and then, instead of curing by cooling, cured by the bombardment of electrons via an electron beam (EB) generator. The method can eliminate the heat of extrusion and can allow for more freedom of orientation because the sheet does not cure until it reaches the electron beam curing station.
METHODS OF PRODUCING POLYOLEFIN FOAM SHEETS AND ARTICLES MADE THEREOF
A method of manufacturing a polyolefin foam sheet composition includes extruding a polyolefin sheet, irradiating the extruded sheet to obtain a physically crosslinked sheet, foaming the physically crosslinked sheet with heat to obtain a foamed layer, and skiving the foamed layer to obtain a foam sheet with at least one skived surface. The surface roughness of the skived surface of the foam sheet is different from the surface roughness of an unskived surface.
