A number of variations may include a panel comprising a skin and an interior wherein the interior comprises a microtruss.

Net-shape structure with micro-truss core

A curved, three-dimensional, ordered micro-truss structure comprising: a plurality of first struts extending along a first direction; a plurality of second struts extending along a second direction; and a plurality of third struts extending along a third direction, wherein the first, second, and third struts interpenetrate one another at a plurality of nodes, wherein the pluralities of first struts, second struts, third struts, and nodes form a plurality of ordered unit cells within the micro-truss structure, and wherein the plurality of ordered unit cells define a curved surface.

An article of footwear may include a padding on an interior of a foot opening or another cushioning element in a first area. The cushioning element may include a UV curable material. A second area (e.g., of an upper) may be affixed with the first area and may include a second UV curable material.

Imprint method and method for manufacturing article

In order to realize an imprint method capable of reducing a drawback caused by protrusion of an imprint material, the imprint method includes a first pattern forming process of bringing a mold into contact with an imprint material on a first pattern forming region on a substrate; a first exposure process of exposing an imprint material on the first pattern forming region and making an amount of exposure for the imprint material on a partial region of the first pattern forming region smaller; a second pattern forming process of bringing the mold into contact with an imprint material on a second pattern forming region after the first pattern forming process to form a pattern; and a second exposure process of exposing the imprint material on the second pattern forming region and the imprint material on the partial region of the first pattern forming region.

METHOD SUITABLE FOR PRODUCING A PATTERN ON A SPECTACLE LENS

A method for applying a pattern on a spectacle lens substrate is disclosed. The method produces a low contact angle surface on a preselected part of a surface of the spectacle lens by plasma treating a preselected part of an uncoated surface of the spectacle lens substrate. Subsequently, a hard coating composition and optionally a primer coating composition are applied to the spectacle lens substrate.
