A method for processing a curved plastic panel is to first form a hard coating layer, an optical function layer, and a printing layer on a flat plastic substrate, and then cut it into a predetermined shape, and then use a hot pressing and curving device to perform a hot pressing and curving process to the flat plastic substrate in order to make it becoming a curved plastic substrate. The hot pressing and curving device can simultaneously perform hot pressing during the heating process, and has the functions of real-time monitoring of the local temperature and the local curvature forming state, and then feedback to the local heating and curvature forming mechanism for adjustments. The monitoring of temperature and curvature can be divided into multiple stages, which can be monitored stage by stage and adjusted for heating or curvature forming to improve production yield.

A paving tile is made of a first rubber material and a second rubber material that is dissimilar from the first rubber material. The first rubber material may be a recycled rubber material, such as crumb rubber granules from scrap vehicle tires. The second rubber material may be a nitrile rubber material, such as nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR). The crumb rubber material is disposed within a mold and leveled. A relatively thin layer of the NBR material is positioned onto the crumb rubber material and the crumb rubber material and the NBR material are chemically bonded without an adhesive using a compression molding process including at least one of a preselected pressure, a preselected temperature and a preselected period of time. The recycled rubber material may have a first color and the nitrile rubber material may have a second color that is different than the first color.

An article is molded from first and second thermosetting elastomer compositions each comprising free-radically curable elastomer and free radical initiator but different from one another. The first thermosetting elastomer composition is molded to fill a first area of a mold cavity at a first temperature at which the first free radical initiator has a half-lifeabout 10 minutes or at which the first thermosetting elastomer composition has an increase in torque less than 10% of a total increase in torque at full cure. The second thermosetting elastomer composition is then inserted into the mold cavity, and the mold is heated to fully cure the article, for example a temperature at which each free radical initiator has a half-lifeabout 1 minute, with the second composition filling a second area of the mold cavity before or during heating and curing.

A graft compression system for compressing soft tissue grafts used in connection with reconstructive surgery. The graft compression system includes an upper press body and lower press body, pivotally couple to one another, each having inner sides having a plurality of parallel semi-circular shaped channels formed thereon. The plurality of parallel semi-circular shaped channels have sequentially decreasing channel widths. The upper press body and said lower press body of the graft compression system are configured to pivot about a pivot pin such that the inner sides abut one another, and such that the two sets of semi-circular shaped channels are substantially aligned with one another so as to receive a graft for compression. A screw press barrel is attached to the lower press body, on a side opposite the pivot pin, and is configured to compress the upper press body and lower press body.

The second press device includes a pressurizing surface formed of a metal press plate, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor. The third press device includes a pressurizing surface formed of a metal press plate, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor.

A graft compression system for compressing soft tissue grafts used in connection with reconstructive surgery.
