Door for home appliance, home appliance, and method for manufacturing the same
A door for a home appliance, a home appliance, and a method for manufacturing the same, are disclosed. The door for a home appliance comprises a panel assembly; and a frame assembly defining a predetermined space having an opening connected with an edge of the panel assembly, and making a foaming space for receiving a thermal insulator by means of the predetermined space of the frame assembly and the edge of the panel assembly, wherein a foaming injection hole through which the thermal insulator is injected is provided on at least one of ends of an upper surface, a lower surface, a left side and a right side of the frame assembly.
Flexible members for sealing, baffling, or reinforcing
An article comprising: (a) a carrier; (b) one or more carrier extensions extending from the carrier at one or more joints; (c) activatable material disposed on the carrier, at least one of the one or more carrier extensions, or a combination thereof; wherein the one or more carrier extensions are flexible relative to the carrier at the one or more hinges.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HEARING DEVICE
A method for manufacturing a hearing device is disclosed. The hearing device comprises a speaker, a first chamber, and a sound channel arranged between the first chamber and the surroundings of the hearing device or a second chamber. An element of a thermoplastic material being in a solid state is arranged in the sound channel. A laser light is applied to the element to thereby activate the element to change from the solid state to a liquid state. The element then changes from the solid state to the liquid state filling out a cross-section of the sound channel and thereby sealing the sound channel. Finally, cooling of the element is allowed leading to a change of the element from the liquid state to solid state while filling out the cross-section of the sound channel.
CARRIER WITH LOCALIZED FIBROUS INSERT AND METHODS
A structural reinforcement for an article including a carrier that includes: (i) a mass of polymeric material having an outer surface; and (is) at least one consolidated fibrous insert having an outer surface and including at least one elongated fiber arrangement having a plurality of ordered fibers arranged in a predetermined manner. The fibrous insert is envisioned to adjoin the mass of the polymeric material in a predetermined location for carrying a predetermined load that is subjected upon the predetermined location (thereby effectively providing localized reinforcement to that predetermined location). The fibrous insert and the mass of polymeric material are of compatible materials, structures or both, for allowing the fibrous insert to be at least partially joined to the mass of the polymeric material. Disposed upon at least a portion of the carrier will be a mass of activatable material.
Insulating element
An insulating material for insulating a structural element in a vehicle including a support element with a first surface and a second surface, and an expandable material which is arranged on the support element. The expandable material is arranged here on a first sub-region of the first surface of the support element, and a second sub-region of the first surface is free from expandable material. The first sub-region is configured here in such a manner that the first surface of the support element is completely covered with expanded material after expansion of the expandable material.
Air valve combining typed polyurethane foam ejection device for tire
An embodiment of the present invention provides an air injection valve-integrated spray for spraying and applying polyurethane foam to a desired portion of a tire. The spray includes a polyurethane foam chamber disposed at an end of a coupling portion and keeping polyurethane foam under pressure and an air delivery chamber delivering air injected from an air injection valve to a breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber, in which the breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber is broken by air coming out of the air delivery chamber, so the polyurethane foam is sprayed.
Method for the production of a vehicle body element and vehicle body element
A method for the production of a vehicle body element is disclosed, wherein the vehicle body element is provided as a component composite comprised of at least one carrier profile part having a hollow structure, and a lightweight material, for example plastic. A liquid starting component of the lightweight construction material is introduced into the hollow structure of the carrier profile part and is then cured to forms the component composite.
Printed damping element
A dam element for the damming of a structure element within a vehicle includes a support element and an expandable element. The support element consists of at least one printed strand of a first material, where the first material is in a solid physical state at least up to a temperature of from 120 C. to 200 C., and the expandable element consists of at least one printed strand of a second material, where the second material is expandable at a temperature between 120 C. and 200 C. The dam element here has, at a point of greatest thickness, measured perpendicularly to a plane of the dam element, at least two, and at most ten, mutually superposed layers.
MEMBERS FOR SEALING, BAFFLING, OR REINFORCING
An article comprising: a carrier (12), activatable material (14) disposed on the carrier, one or more carrier extensions (16) extending from the carrier; wherein the article is adapted to provide sealing, baffling, or reinforcement within a structure's cavity.
