THREADED MOLD DECOUPLING SYSTEM
A threaded mold decoupling system includes at least one unscrewing assembly rotatably coupled to a mounting plate and disposed in proximity to a threaded core of an injection mold, an elevator assembly having a first elevator element rotatably coupled to the mounting plate and a second elevator element connected to a fixed plate, the fixed plate opposing the mounting plate, and a driving assembly disposed in operative communication with the at least one unscrewing assembly and with the first elevator element of the elevator assembly. The driving assembly is configured to actuate the at least one unscrewing assembly to rotate a molded article about a longitudinal axis of the threaded core and actuate the first elevator element relative to the second elevator element to linearly translate the mounting plate relative to the fixed plate and to translate the molded article along the longitudinal axis of the threaded core.
CAP, CAP MOLD, SECURING STRUCTURE PART USING CAP, AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING CAP
A cap is applied to a securing structure part for securing structure elements using a fastener passed through through-holes formed in the structure elements, and a collar fastened to the tip part of the fastener. A filler engaging part for engaging a cured filler, configured with a female thread that turns about a center axis, is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cap. The filler engaging part includes a first helical engagement part formed in the region near the cap inner part of the inner peripheral surface in the center axis direction; and a second helical engagement part formed in the region near the cap opening-end part in the center axis direction, the inner diameter of the second helical engagement part being greater than that of the first helical engagement part, and having a helical direction that is opposite to that of the first helical engagement part.
Injection molded articles and mold apparatuses for forming same
An injection molded article includes: (a) an article first portion having internal threading extending helically about an article axis, the threading configured to be formed by a thread mold in a mold core; and (b) an article second portion spaced radially apart from the article first portion and connected to the article first portion by a connection portion. The article second portion has at least one ejection-assist rib configured to be formed by at least one rib mold feature in the mold core. The ejection-assist rib defines a helical slide surface extending helically about the article axis. During an initial unscrewing rotation of the molded article relative to the mold core, the rib mold feature of the mold core bears against the slide surface of the ejection-assist rib to urge the article second portion axially away from the mold core during ejection of the molded article from the mold core.
Cosmetic product applicator, cosmetic product packaging assembly and associated manufacturing processes
A cosmetic product application member comprises: a rod carrier (40); and a rod (38) defining a first end (70) and a second end (72) that are opposite. The first end (70) of the rod (38) is intended to be assembled in the rod carrier (40). The rod (38) and the rod carrier (40) are manufactured from a plastic material composed of a copolyester, in particular a semi-aromatic copolyester.
INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLES AND MOLD APPARATUSES FOR FORMING SAME
A mold core for forming an injection molded article includes a first mold surface having a thread mold extending helically about a core axis for forming internal threading in a first portion of the molded article; and a second mold surface spaced radially apart from the first mold surface for forming a second portion spaced radially apart from the first portion and connected to the first portion by a connection portion. The second mold surface includes at least one rib mold feature for forming at least one ejection-assist rib of the second portion, the ejection-assist rib having a helical slide surface extending helically about the article axis. During an initial unscrewing rotation of the molded article relative to the mold core, the rib mold feature bears against the helical slide surface to urge the second portion axially away from the mold core during ejection of the molded article.
COMPACT INJECTION MOULD FOR A CAP WHICH IS PREFERABLY PROVIDED WITH AN APPLICATOR SHAFT
An injection molding tool includes a \ primary mold cavity forming a handle sleeve having an inner circumference with an integral transition section attached thereto, and transitioning into a shaft protruding from the handle sleeve. The handle sleeve in an area between the attachment of the transition section and a free end facing the free end of the shaft has a skirt with an internally formed fastener for securing the handle sleeve to a container. The injection molding tool has an ejector-side insert and a nozzle-side insert removable for demolding purposes. The nozzle-side insert provides the part of the main mold cavity that molds the outer circumference of the handle sleeve, and the ejector-side insert.
