Injection mold
An injection mold, in particular for encapsulating rotors of electric machines, has a mold, wherein the mold has an arrangement of mold segments. The arrangement forms, along a longitudinal axis, a cavity for a component to be arranged. An exchange unit is provided, which is designed to remove at least one mold segment from and/or insert at least one mold segment into the arrangement, with the result that a size of the cavity can be changed.
FLUID TRANSFER ASSEMBLY, A FLUID TRANSFER SYSTEM, AND A RELATED METHOD
Fluid transfer assemblies for transferring fluid into or out of a single vessel and distributing the fluid to multiple other vessels are provided. The fluid transfer assemblies are customizable, substantially aseptic, and single-use. The fluid transfer assemblies may be manufactured by solidifying polymeric materials to form a body around a mandrel with protrusions engaged to fluid conduits and leaving recesses in the solidified polymeric material to stretch the resultant body and remove the mandrel with protrusions. The resultant fluid transfer assembly may be surrounded by a rigid housing and valves may be engaged with the conduits and/or body to control the fluid flow within the fluid transfer assembly.
Blind Installation of Injection Mold Components
What is presented is a system for blind securing injection mold components to an injection molding machine. The system comprises a shuttle plate that has at least one locking mechanism mounted to it. Each locking mechanism has a larger installation area and a smaller lock area. Each injection mold component has a notch that has a corresponding geometry to the lock area such that the said injection mold component is configured to be inserted into the installation area and the shuttle plate is configured to move to seat the notch into the lock area and secure the injection mold component to the shuttle plate.
MOLD CONVEYANCE GUIDE APPARATUS IN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A mold conveyance guide apparatus includes: a linear guide that is attached along a conveyance direction of a mold to a mold attachment surface of at least one of a fixed platen or a movable platen to which the mold is fixed; a slider that is movably attached to the linear guide; and a coupling arm that is swingably attached to the slider in a direction coming closer to or separating from the mold attachment surface and is coupled to the mold in an engageable and disengageable manner.
Leakage return circuit connector
A method for molding a connector which includes a connecting element having a cylindrical body and, one arm extending along an arm axis for the L-shaped connector or, two arms extending along two different arm axes for the T-shaped connector, the body being capable of being connected to an injector, and each arm being capable of being connected to the end of a pipe. The molding method includes a) providing a mold having a cavity for a T-shaped connecting element, the cavity including a cavity for a body and two cavities for arms and b) arranging an insert in the cavity for one of the two arms when an L-shaped connecting element is to be molded.
INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF INJECTION MOLDING
An injection molding apparatus and a method of injection molding are disclosed. The injection molding apparatus includes a mold sub-platen assembly having a first sub-platen that is attachable to a stationary side portion of a mold base which is mountable to a stationary platen of an injection molding machine. The mold sub-platen assembly also includes a second sub-platen that is attachable to a moving side portion of the mold base that is mountable to a moving platen of the injection molding machine. The method includes attaching a set of guide pins to a mold sub-platen at locations that correspond to guide openings in a mold and installing the mold on the mold sub-platen such that the guide pins extend through guide openings in the first half of the mold and into guide openings in a second half of the mold.
INTERCHANGEABLE MOLD FOR CREATION OF INJECTION MOLDED COMPONENTS
An interchangeable mold for use in the manufacture of injection molded components is disclosed. An interchangeable mold can have a component mold made of one material (e.g., metal) and a base mold made of another material (e.g., polymer). Each of the base mold and the component mold can be manufactured using additive or subtractive manufacturing processes. The component mold can be attached and detached from the base mold to permit the forming of different components using the same base mold.
Molds, mold assemblies and stack components
A cavity plate assembly (400) for a preform mold (100), which includes a cavity plate (410) having an array of seats (412) and a corresponding array of cavity inserts (440) mounted to a front face (CVF) of the cavity plate (410) and in communication with a respective seat (412). Each cavity insert (440) includes a body (441) with a mounting face (441a) and a spigot (443) projecting from the mounting face (441a) and received in a respective seat (412) of the cavity plate (410) such that the mounting (441a) face abuts the front face (CVF) of the cavity plate (410). Each cavity insert (440) also includes a molding surface (448) along its length, at least two thirds of which extends beyond the cavity plate (410).
MOLD APPARATUS
A mold apparatus includes first and second mold plates that constitute a cassette mold, a first base mold, a base intermediate mold for loading the first mold plate, a second base mold for loading the second mold plate, a base intermediate mold driving device for positioning and fixing the base intermediate mold at any position between the first and second base molds, and a controller for performing control to position and fix the base intermediate mold so that the first mold plate and the first base mold are in contact with each other when a molded product is taken out.
Injection mold, molding tool comprising the mold and methods of use thereof
An injection mold that has an injector mold plate with a first injector mold plate face and an opposite second injector mold plate face, an ejector mold plate having a first ejector mold plate face and an opposite second ejector mold plate face, with the first injector mold plate face faces the first ejector mold plate face, at least one tempering medium channel connecting a tempering medium inlet of the injection mold to a tempering medium outlet of the injection mold, wherein the at least one tempering medium channel traverses an area of at least one of the second injector mold plate face and/or the second ejector mold plate face and defines a free opening in the respective mold plate face along at least a length of the at least one tempering medium channel.
