A device for manufacturing a support for the human body, of the type including a mold including a lower female portion and an upper male portion capable of being coupled with one another so as to define at least one cavity between them inside which at least one material in the fluid state intended to make the support can be poured. The female portion of the mold includes at least one mobile block including at least two different surfaces suitable for making up respective different bottoms of said cavity for separate pouring steps of at least one material in the fluid state foreseen in the support. A process for manufacturing a support for the human body is moreover presented.

A tool insert for the production of an object by an injection molding method, wherein the injection molding tool includes an insert frame and at least one lamination assembly having a plurality of individual laminations, wherein the at least one lamination assembly is inserted in the insert frame. In further aspects, the invention relates to a method and a system for producing an object having curved surfaces using the tool insert, and to an object which can be produced with the method. The system for producing an object comprises a tool insert and a sliding element. A basic idea of the invention is that curved surfaces can be introduced into the object in that the insert frame has curved surfaces and/or at least one distortion cushion is arranged between the insert frame and the at least one lamination assembly.
MOLD FOR SEAT PAD WITH MESH FIXED
Provided is a mold for a seat pad with a mesh fixed, which can easily fix a mesh to be inserted in a molding process. The mold includes a plurality of mold members overlapping each other and molding a seat pad by foaming a resin injected into a space formed between the mold members, the mold members are formed with a mesh accommodating groove accommodating a mesh, and the mesh is fitted into and fixed to the mesh-accommodating groove.
Attaching/detaching structure
Provided is an attaching/detaching structure that operates reliably with simple operation. The attaching/detaching structure attaches/detaches a second connecting member (4) to/from a first connecting member (3). An operation chamber (8) formed in a base member (5) of the second connecting member (4) is connected to the outside of the base member (5) via an insertion hole (7) opened to a seating surface (6) of the first connecting member (3). Two clamp arms (10) and (11) are provided in the operation chamber (8) so as to be symmetrical around an axial center of the operation chamber (8). An engaging portion (16, 17) is formed at one end (10b, 11b) in longitudinal direction of each of the clamp arms (10, 11). An engaging member (32) protruding from the second connecting member (4) can be inserted into the insertion hole (7). A lock portion (34) in which the engaging portions (16, 17) can be engaged is formed in the engaging member (32).

To achieve molding insert is properly mounted to the tooling plate of the injection molding machine, a sensor head comprising confocal sensors is used. The sensor heads are placed on the tooling plate at the respective position to determine whether the desired mold insert has been mounted to that position and whether the desired mold insert has been precisely and accurately mounted to the tooling plate.

There is provided a mold assembly for molding a car door handle, the assembly comprising: a cavity mold as an upper mold, wherein the cavity mold has an elongate cavity defined in an upper body; a core mold as a lower mold, wherein the core mold has an elongate protrusion from a lower body; and first and second inserts received in the molds, wherein each of the first and second inserts has a first curved portion at a first edge of each of the first and second inserts, wherein the cavity mold has a second curved portion at a second edge of each of the first and second cavity mold-side insert-receiving recesses, the second edge abutting the first edge, wherein a parting line for the car door handle is defined as a contact line between the first and second curved portions, wherein the second curved portion extends upward in an upwardly convex shape, while the first curved portion extends downwardly in a downwardly convex shape.
MOLD INSERT WITH CONDUITS FOR COOLING INJECTION MOLDED ITEM
A mold insert having a main body including a first surface and an opposed second surface, the first surface defining a plane. The mold insert also has a mold core extending from the first surface and a gas inlet port connectable to a supply of pressurized gas. Further, the mold insert has two or more gas outlet ports arranged to direct a gas flow towards an uncovered surface of an injection molded item located on the mold core, after the mold core and the mold cavity are separated from each other. Further, the mold insert has a gas conduit system extending inside the main body connecting the two or more gas outlet ports with the gas inlet port. Each of the two or more gas outlet ports are arranged through the first surface. The gas conduit system is provided in the main body below the first surface.
INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUSES
In one embodiment, a gate insert includes an injection gate body having front and rear opposite sides and an aperture extending through the injection gate body between an injection gate outlet on the front side and an opening on the rear side. The injection gate body is connectable to and disconnectable from a gate pad in a cavity plate from a front side of the gate pad and from a front side of the cavity plate. In another embodiment, a cavity flange includes a molding body defining at least a portion of a molding cavity shaped to mold a shell of a closure for a container. The molding body is connectable to and disconnectable from a gate insert in a cavity plate from a front side of the gate insert and from a front side of the cavity plate.
