Interchangeable Illuminated Fishing Lure
20220125026 · 2022-04-28 ·

The improved interchangeable illuminated fishing lure is comprised of two hollow light-transmissive polymer bodies creating a resealable watertight housing allowing for interchangeable power and illumination sources. Each body detachably engages another body with a watertight fastening means. The illumination assembly pocket provides temporary securement where the positive and negative leads of the illumination source are held in contact against the power source terminals illuminating the lure and allowing for rapid interchangeability of illumination color, brightness, or light effects such as blinking, flashing, flickering or like.

A fishing lure comprises a body having a front end and a rear end. A cavity is positioned towards the front end of the body, and the cavity has a longitudinal direction. A connection member is located at least partially in the cavity and retained thereto by one or more retaining members. Each retaining member is able to extend into the cavity to retain the connection member in the cavity in use. The connection member is able to move, in use, in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.

Device and System to Remotely Distribute Bait
20240032521 · 2024-02-01 ·

A device and system to remotely distribute bait is used to attract fish, especially in an off-shore fishing scenario where debris or a weed line is spotted. The device is made of a hollow sphere comprising two hemispheres; a loop; slots in the lower hemisphere; a buoyancy material for flotation. A user of a device and system to remotely distribute bait would fill the sphere with bait and select a location desirous of fishing. A user would then throw the device toward the desired location and wait for the chum to fall from the device into the water.

LURE FOR FISHING
20240099282 · 2024-03-28 ·

A lure for fishing configured to simulate a swimming motion while sinking. A further embodiment relates to a lure for fishing which does not sink vertically, but swims downwards at an angle. The lure may change direction without input from the user. In an embodiment the lure vibrates when being pulled by a user (e.g. using a fishing rod), swims downwards at an angle when under no external force, vibrating while it does so and changes direction when sinking. Various characteristics of the lure may contribute to this behaviour such as the weight and shape.

MAGNETIC WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR A FISHING LURE
20240147976 · 2024-05-09 ·

A weight distribution system for a fishing lure with front and rear ends includes a cavity within the fishing lure having a long axis parallel to a long axis of the fishing lure; a movable weight freely movable within and along the long axis of the cavity; a weight magnet associated with the movable weight and having a positive pole and a negative pole; a rear magnet mounted adjacent to a rear end of the cavity and having a positive pole and a negative pole; and wherein the rear magnet and the weight magnet are arranged such that their respective like poles face one another to exert a repulsive force biasing the movable weight away from the rear magnet and the rear end of the fishing lure. A fishing lure including the weight distribution system is also disclosed.
