PROCESS TO MANUFACTURE AN INTERCONNECTED STACK OF THERMOPLASTIC FRAMES
The invention is directed to a process to manufacture an interconnected stack of thermoplastic frames having two sides by stacking the thermoplastic frames to obtain a stack of frames such that the facing sides of two neighbouring frames are in contact with each other at a contact area. When stacking a longitudinal conduit is formed which runs along the length of the stack and a branched conduit is formed at the contact area. The interconnected stack of thermoplastic frames are obtained by supplying a pressurised melt of a plastic material to the elongated conduit and branched conduits.
SHAPING MACHINE AND METHOD OF OPERATING A SHAPING MACHINE
A shaping machine includes a stationary first mold mounting plate, a second mold mounting plate movable with respect to the first mold mounting plate, a tubular snorkel fixedly secured to the second mold mounting plate, and an injection unit for plasticizing and injecting a molding material. An abutment is designed so that, in the opened condition of the closing unit, the injection unit can be braced against the abutment, and so that, in a closed condition of the closing unit, the injection unit is freed from the abutment by the force action of the snorkel on the injection unit.
Method for manufacturing substrate-integrated gasket
The invention provides a method for manufacturing a substrate-integrated gasket, the method integrating a fiber substrate which is constructed by a pulp fiber having cellulose as a main component and a gasket body which is constructed by a rubber-like elastic body according to a rubber impregnation, wherein a plurality of substrate-integrated gaskets are obtained by executing an injection molding by plural stages of rubber metal molds. Further, the rubber material is filled in plural stages of metal mold cavities by passing the rubber material through the fiber substrate in which a rubber material flow channel in the metal mold is closed at its injection pressure. The invention can reduce a man hour for removing burr and cleaning a metal mold by suppressing generation of rubber burr at the molding time and can reduce an amount of disposal of a molding material, thereby achieving a good manufacturing efficiency.
Coplanar modular printbars
In various examples, a printbar is formed from multiple modular fluid ejection subassemblies joined together through a molding process that provides for a continuous planar substrate surface. A mold may secure the modular fluid ejection subassemblies during a molding process in which a runner conveys a molding material to seams between the joined modular fluid ejection subassemblies.

Molding method of liquid elastomer
A molding method of a liquid elastomer can reduce an amount of disposal of a molding material, and can prevent a metal mold from being enlarged in size on a plane when a plurality of molded articles are simultaneously molded by using the metal mold, thereby achieving a good manufacturing efficiency. The molding method of the liquid elastomer molds a molded article constructed by a liquid elastomer by using a metal mold, the metal mold is a metal mold for an injection molding, a plurality of product cavity spaces are provided side by side in a mold clamping and mold opening direction of the metal mold, and a plurality of molded articles are simultaneously molded by using the metal mold. The metal mold has a sprue, runners and gates which are communicated with a plurality of product cavity spaces. The runners have orthogonal runner portions and parallel runner portions.
INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE WITH STACK MOLD FOR INJECTION COMPRESSION MOLDING APPLICATIONS AND INJECTION COMPRESSION MOLDING PROCESS
An injection-molding machine includes a stack mold having a snorkel supplying melt to a central part of the stack mold. A biased movable part of the snorkel and a nozzle of an injection unit can be pressed against one another during the injecting process, wherein a position of the injection unit can be fixed in the longitudinal machine direction, when the stack mold is in a position for performing a compression molding stroke. A bias and a stroke executable by the movable part of the snorkel can be adjusted, so that the nozzle and the snorkel remain pressed against each other at least while the compression molding stroke is executed during the injection process. The position of the injection unit is held during an injection process while the compression molding stroke is executed
