A plastic faucet body and a die for molding the same are provided. The plastic faucet body comprises a left water inlet pipe and a right water inlet pipe, where a connecting cross-beam is disposed between the left water inlet pipe and the right water inlet pipe, the left water inlet pipe and the right water inlet pipe are embedded with a threaded copper pipe, respectively, the copper pipes are formed integrally with the plastic faucet body by means of a single stage process and are in communication with the corresponding left water inlet pipe and the right water inlet pipe, respectively.
Two-shot molded optical obturator
A method of manufacturing an optical obturator includes providing an injection mold including a mold cavity defining an outer surface of the optical obturator and a core pin centrally positioned within the mold cavity. The core pin defines an inner surface of the optical obturator. In particular, the core pin may be cantilevered to the injection mold. The method further includes injecting a first material between the core pin and the mold cavity to form the tubular shaft and injecting a second material between a distal portion of the core pin and a distal portion of the mold cavity to form the optical tip.

A conduit connector and method of construction thereof is provided. The conduit connector includes a body having a through passage extending between open opposite ends and a tubular male port section extending axially to an end face of one of the ends. The tubular male section has an outer surface configured for connection to a tubular conduit and an inner surface bounding at least a portion of the through passage. The end face has an outer annular first surface extending radially inwardly from the outer surface and an inner annular second surface extending radially inwardly from the annular first surface toward the inner surface. The annular second surface forms a counterbore that is recessed axially a first distance from the annular first surface, wherein an annular bead extends from one of the annular second surface or the inner surface, with the entirety of the annular bead remaining recessed below the annular first surface.

A mold assembly (100) for making tubular articles. The mold assembly includes a core plate (210), core inserts (230) mounted to the core plate (210) by fasteners (B), a cavity plate (410) with holes (413) through its thickness and cavity inserts (420) mounted to the cavity plate (410). Each core insert (230) has a molding surface (234a) and an engagement taper (233) between the molding surface and its mounting surface (236). At least part of the engagement taper (233) is located closer to the mounting surface (236) than it is to the molding surface (234a) for inhibiting the core insert (230) from tipping when the engagement taper (233) is engaged to move or slide the core insert (230) along the core plate (210). The assembly (100) has an assembled configuration, in which the core plate (210) is mounted to the a cavity plate (410), such that each core insert (230) describes with a respective cavity insert (420) a hollow body and each cavity plate hole (413) is aligned with a respective core insert fastener (B) for allowing a tool to be inserted therethrough to access the core insert fastener (B).

During shrinkage movement of the stepped reinforcing rib in the height direction after molten resin has been filled in the injection molding die, the sliding piece is pressed by the leading end of the stepped reinforcing rib and moves towards the panel body.
