METHOD AND COMPONENT OF A HOT-INJECTION APPARATUS
A component is described for an injection molding apparatus. The component is mounted within a manifold as a junction between a supply channel, which has a first axis, and an injection channel, which has a second axis and leads to an injection nozzle for injection towards a mold cavity. A nozzle shutter crosses the feed channel and the component along the second axis. The component comprises an outer surface comprising inlets adapted to receive the molten material arriving from the supply channel, a central cavity which is in fluid communication with the injection channel to send the molten material there, and internal channels which cross the thickness of the component. The terminal section of each internal channel in proximity of the respective outlet develops so as to introduce the molten material into the central cavity according to an introduction direction directed towards the injection channel.

A core molding apparatus and a core molding method capable of reducing the possibility of the deterioration in the calculation accuracy of the amount of supply of a raw material for a core are provided. A core molding apparatus includes: a kneading tank configured to knead a raw material for a core; a raw material supply unit configured to supply the raw material to the kneading tank; a mold configured to contain a kneaded material made of the raw material kneaded in the kneading tank and to mold the core; a piston configured to inject the kneaded material contained in the kneading tank into the mold; and a control unit configured to control an amount of supply of the raw material from the raw material supply unit to the kneading tank.

A plasticizing unit for a molding machine includes an injection cylinder and an axially movable plasticizing screw arranged in the injection cylinder. A filter device for filtering plasticized material, in particular plasticized plastic, is provided, and the filter device is or can be arranged axially movable in the injection cylinder.

An injection molding machine is configured with: a plasticizing unit configured to cause a supplied thermoplastic resin to be in a completely molten state; a mixing and kneading unit configured to receive the thermoplastic resin in the completely molten state by the plasticizing unit and also configured to receive reinforcing fiber for mixing and kneading the thermoplastic resin and the reinforcing fiber while heating; and a kneading and injection unit configured to inject the thermoplastic resin and the reinforcing fiber, both mixed and kneaded together, into a cavity in a clamping device.
