NOVEL FISHING LURE
20250386811 · 2025-12-25 ·

The disclosure provides various components for a fishing lure. These components include a Hard Bodied Ballast Oscillator (HBBO) which oscillates around various axes, an HBB with positive lift that rises during retrieval, and a hook for use in a rigid body which, while being fished, remains at least partially inside the body and reliably pointing upwards, and which, when the fish bites, is at least partially exposed. In some cases multiple components may be connected to each other via a stiff wire and designed to maintain, in the water, a particular orientation of the components relative to each other.

A lure device for mimicking life-like movement of a piece of bait to attract and capture a fish includes a stem having a first end and a second end. A channel extends through the stem. A fishing line is slidably positioned within the channel. The channel includes an inlet that extends through an outer surface of the stem. The inlet is spaced from the second end by a distance exceeding a distance between the inlet and the first end. An outlet extends through the second end. A weight is coupled to the stem to urge the stem downward through a body of water. A pair of legs are coupled to and extend from the weight. The pair of legs trail along a bottom surface of the body of water while the stem and the fishing line extend upwardly relative to the bottom surface of the body of water.

A shoreline fishing lure includes a lure body having a pair of side portions that, together, define an interior area and an upper slit in communication with the interior area. An insert member is positioned in the interior area and includes an upper section extending upwardly through the slit and defines a plurality of harness holes arranged along front and upper edges of the insert member. The insert member includes a weight mechanism proximate a lower edge of the insert member that is configured to selectively modify the lures body's buoyancy. The fishing lure includes a wire harness having an upper prong selectively extending through a selected harness hole, the wire harness having a predetermined contoured configuration that, when attached to the selected harness hole, modifies the direction and movement of the lure body in response to water resistance.

A lure for fishing includes a hollow body including a first body having a first bonding surface and a second body having a second bonding surface bonded to the first bonding surface, a wire having an eye to which a line or a hook is configured to be connected, and integrally incorporated into the body, and a buffer member between the body and the wire. The wire is sandwiched between the first body and the second body with the buffer member interposed therebetween such that the eye is exposed to outside of the body, and is configured to move relative to the buffer member. The buffer member is in contact with both the first body and the second body.

Disclosed herein are a fishing lure and method of assembly thereof. Specifically, embodiments of a fishing lure are disclosed that include a head portion and a tail portion that are couplable to form a bait chamber. The fishing lure is attachable to a leader via a passage formed by the fishing lure that remains within the chamber from a first hole formed in the head portion to a second hole formed in the tail portion. The second hole is formed in a surface of the tail portion that is closer to the first hole of the head portion than a second end surface of the tail portion.
