The invention relates to a method for producing a plastic part, especially a plastic part for an automobile, by an injection molding method comprising the steps: Using an injection molding device, plastic in a flowable state is injected into the mold cavity of an injection mold, gas under pressure is injected through a gas inlet opening in the injection mold into the mold cavity of the injection mold by means of a gas injection device so that a gas bubble forms within the still flowable plastic, the plastic is heated and kept flowable, at least in a region neighboring the gas inlet opening while the plastic is hardening in the mold cavity, wherein pressure is exerted on the plastic being kept flowable so that an opening in the plastic in the region of the gas inlet opening is sealed, and the plastic part is removed from the injection mold after reaching a sufficient dimensional stability. In addition, the invention relates to a corresponding device.

MOLD INSERT FOR TUBING-FORMING MOLD APPARATUSES

Molds or mold inserts are implemented or installed in a mold apparatus for forming a polymeric product such as a tubing. The mold includes an outer component and an inner component. The outer component defines a first inner cavity having a first diameter, and the inner component is disposed at least partially inside the inner cavity of the outer component. The inner component has an inner surface which defines a second inner cavity having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. In certain examples, the inner component is a single unitary piece. In some examples, the inner component includes a first subcomponent and a second subcomponent that couple together to define the second inner cavity through which a polymeric material is configured to pass during formation of the polymeric product.

Injection mold having a simplified evaporative cooling system or a simplified cooling system with exotic cooling fluids

An injection mold assembly for a high output consumer product injection molding machine, the injection mold assembly having a simplified cooling system that is an evaporative cooling system or a cooling system including a hazardous, dangerous, or expensive cooling fluid. The simplified cooling system has a cooling fluid channel that is confined to a mold support plate.

METHODS FOR COOLING MOLDS

Methods are provided for cooling a plastic part that has been produced in a mold. Carbon dioxide is fed through a capillary tube from a carbon dioxide source to the mold thereby providing cooling of the plastic part and avoiding hot spots in the plastic part prior to removal from the mold. The capillary tube is a smaller capillary tube located concentrically inside a larger capillary tube. Alternatively, the smaller capillary tube may extend from the end of the larger capillary tube telescopically thereby increasing the length of the capillary but also reducing its diameter as it progresses along its length.

An optical lens injection molding module is presented, wherein the molding module has a mold core made by a metal 3D printer. The metal 3D printer first lays metal powder on a platform and then transmits laser heat energy for irradiation sintering to melt the metal powder together into a predetermined shape as a metal layer, and by repeated formation of a plurality of metal layers. The mold core has a top surface, a bottom surface, a peripheral wall, a through aperture, a plurality of mold cavities, and at least one temperature controlled flow channel. The mold cavities and the temperature controlled flow channel are disposed in the mold core. The through aperture is disposed at a center of a circular position of all the mold cavities, penetrates both of the top surface and the bottom surface, and connects radially to each mold cavity via a plurality of guiding grooves.
