Coextrusion feedblock
A coextrusion feedblock is disclosed having a housing, a central extrusion channel, a coextrusion channel, a rotatable combining plane, a rotatable profile actuator, and a profiled bar mounted removably on the rotatable profile actuator. The central extrusion channel and the coextrusion channel pass through the housing. The rotatable combining plane and the rotatable profile actuator are positioned on opposite sides of the coextrusion channel so as to confront each other.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN SHEET HAVING HAIRLIKE BODIES AND MOLDED PRODUCT THEREOF
[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide a sheet expressing a good tactile sensation and a molded product thereof.
[Solution] A sheet expressing a good tactile sensation and a molded product thereof are provided by configuring a thermoplastic resin sheet having a base layer and hairlike bodies arranged regularly on at least one surface thereof, wherein a continuous phase is formed without a structural boundary between the base layer and the hairlike bodies.
Highly flexible foil composite material and its use in card bodies
A foil composite material usable as a layer in a card body of a portable data carrier, that includes one outer plastic layer, one inner plastic layer and one second outer plastic layer. All the layers jointly form a coextruded composite, and the plastic of one outer layer is a thermoplastic polymer or a mixture thereof. The plastic of the one inner layer is a mixture of at least one thermoplastic elastomer and at least one thermoplastic polymer. The plastic of the second outer layer is a thermoplastic polymer or a mixture thereof.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND MULTILAYERED STRUCTURE USING SAME
Provided is a resin composition comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), a hydrate-forming metal salt (B), and a polyamide-based resin (C) that inhibits elution of a resin composition layer during hot water sterilization treatment of a multilayered structure including the resin composition layer, while suppressing odor during melt molding of the resin composition. An aromatic polyamide (C1) and an aliphatic polyamide (C2) are used for the polyamide-based resin (C) at a proportion of (C1)/(C2)=55/45-99/1.
COEXTRUDED POLYMER FILM CONFIGURED FOR SUCCESSIVE IRREVERSIBLE DELAMINATION
Multilayered polymer films are configured so that successive constituent layer packets can be delaminated in continuous sheet form from the remaining film. The new films are compatible with known coextrusion manufacturing techniques, and can also be made without the use of adhesive layers between layer packets that are tailored to be individually peelable from the remainder of the film. Instead, combinations of polymer compositions are used to allow non-adhesive polymer layers to be combined in such a way that delamination of the film is likely to occur along a plurality of delamination surfaces corresponding to interfaces between particular pairs of layers for which the peel strength is reduced relative to the peel strength at other layer interfaces within the film. The absence of an adhesive between peelable layer packets results in the delamination being irreversible.
BLACK FILM
A black film containing a thermoplastic resin (A) that contains two or more types of dyes other than black, where a thickness T is 45 to 550 m, a total concentration C of the dyes other than black is 0.4 to 5 mass % with respect to the thermoplastic resin (A), the total concentration C of the dyes and the thickness T satisfy the following expression (1):
CT210(1) where in a L*a*b* color system measurement compliant with HS Z 8781-4, L* (lightness) is no more than 10, an absolute value of a* is no more than 2.0, and an absolute value of b* is no more than 2.0, and a total light transmittance obtained after the black film is stretched twofold in one axial direction at a temperature higher than a glass transition temperature by 20 C. is no more than 3.0%.
FEED BLOCK AND SHEET MANUFACTURING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SHEET
It is an object of the present invention to provide a feed block that can stably produce a resin sheet in which a main material and an auxiliary material are stacked on top of another. The feed block feeds laminated molten resin P to a die, wherein laminated molten resin P has at least one main material A that consists of a molten resin in a shape of a plate or a sheet and auxiliary material B that consists of a molten resin in a shape of a plate or a sheet, wherein auxiliary material B is stacked on at least a part of at least one main material A with regard to a width direction thereof. The feed block has: at least one main material forming channel 17, 18 that allows a molten resin to flow therethrough in order to form main material A into a shape of a plate or a sheet; auxiliary material forming channel 19 that allows a molten resin to flow therethrough in order to form auxiliary material B into a shape of a plate or a sheet; merging section 23 that forms laminated molten resin P, wherein at least one main material forming channel 17, 18 and auxiliary material forming channel 19 merge at merging section 23; and channel 24 for laminated molten resin P that is located downstream of merging section 23 and that feeds laminated molten resin P to the die.
