Extrusion Equipment
20230191681 · 2023-06-22 ·

Present invention is related to an extrusion equipment for processing a fibre composite. The extrusion equipment comprises a decompression and a melt tank arranged and operated vertically along with the direction of gravity. The melt tank comprises a melt tank impregnation section and a melt tank control section with a melt tank cavity as a channel condition defined within. The channel has its inner diameter or passage gradually decreased from top to bottom. The extrusion equipment provided by the present invention is configured in the direction of gravity for processing the melted thermoplastic resin and the fibre vertically for avoiding fibre fracture or breakage and improving the quality of the final products. As the melted plastic is processed vertically along with the gravity, the melted plastic could transfer or pass through the channel quickly without resulting decomposition due to the high heat and the long retention time in the cavity.

Disclosed are embodiments of a three-dimensional (3D) printer for building 3D objects with layer based, additive manufacturing techniques. The hot end can be moved in a horizontal plane parallel a planar printing surface of the printing bed while the printing bed can be moved perpendicular to the planar printing surface to print a 3D object. The hot end can be part of an extrusion guide assembly. The 3D printer can auto-level the printing bed.

SINGLE SCREW MICRO-EXTRUDER FOR 3D PRINTING
20170291364 · 2017-10-12 ·

A single screw micro-extruder for a 3D printer includes a feed chamber with an opening for receiving solid plastic pellets. An extrusion barrel extends from the feed chamber and has an inner conically shaped bore between input and output ends. The bore has a mouth at the input end and an exit opening at the output end with a melt section therebetween. A rotatable screw is attached to a torque drive of the printer, and extends through the feed chamber and conical bore of the barrel. A constant or tapered diameter of the screw root core, from the input end toward the output end of the barrel, forms a decreasing channel root depth in a helical path for compression between a root core surface and an inner surface of the bore for pressurizing melt in the melt section of the barrel to exit an extrusion nozzle.

ULTRAFINE FIBER PRODUCTION METHOD AND PRODUCTION DEVICE

An ultrafine fiber production device has a first heating unit, a nozzle unit, a hot air heating unit, a hot air blowing unit, a second heating unit, and a fiber collecting unit. The first heating unit melts a thermoplastic resin. The nozzle unit discharges the thermoplastic resin melted by the first heating unit. The hot air blowing unit performs fiber forming by blowing high-temperature gas produced by the hot air heating unit to the melted thermoplastic resin discharged by the nozzle unit and by extending the thermoplastic resin. The second heating unit further heats, extends, and fines produced fibers. The fiber collecting unit collects the thermoplastic resin in a fibrous form which is fined by the second heating unit.
