HOLLOW BOARD COOLING APPARATUS
A hollow board cooling apparatus is for cooling a formed hollow board and includes first and second cooling devices, a coolant-circulating device, and a temperature-controlling unit. Each of the first and second cooling devices has a main body, a cooling channel extending through the main body to form inlet and outlet openings for passage of the hollow board, and a coolant channel formed in the main body. The coolant-circulating device introduces a coolant into the coolant channels via coolant inlets, and retrieves the coolant therefrom via coolant outlets. The temperature-controlling unit controls the coolant-circulating device to cool the coolant when the board temperature is higher than a reference temperature.

The acrylic rubber sheet is extremely excellent in storage stability and processability and the sheet can be easily produced by the claimed method.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR MAKING ARTICLES AND FILMS FROM THE SAME
A thermoplastic polymer composition comprises a polyethylene polymer composition and a salt of bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3-dicarboxylic acid. The polyethylene polymer composition can have a Melt Relaxation Product of 50,000 or less. A method for producing an injection molded article comprises the steps of (a) providing a thermoplastic polymer composition as described above, (b) melting the thermoplastic polymer composition, (c) injecting the molten thermoplastic polymer composition into a mold cavity, (d) cooling the molten thermoplastic polymer composition, and (e) ejecting the injection molded article from the mold cavity. A method for producing a film comprises the steps of (a) providing a thermoplastic polymer composition as described above, (b) melting the thermoplastic polymer composition, (c) extruding the molten thermoplastic polymer composition through a slot-shaped die orifice to form a film, (d) cooling the film, and (e) collecting the film.
SILICONE RUBBER ROLLER FOR EMBOSSING, PLASTIC FILM PRODUCTION METHOD, A PRODUCTION DEVICE USING SAME, AND SURFACE PROTECTION FILM
A silicone embossing rubber roller has no fine depression defects on the surface and, furthermore, is not liable to produce protrusions on an embossed plastic film surface. The silicone rubber roller is such that the silicone rubber layer on the surface contains spherical solid particles, and the spherical solid particles having a particle size of 0.8 μm or smaller and the spherical solid particles having a particle size of 30 μm or larger respectively occupy 1% or less of the volume of all the spherical solid particles.
High performance cooling element
The present invention relates to an external cooling system for a molten film tube produced by a blown film tubular extrusion process. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a unidirectional cooling element having a unidirectional cooling interface containing a cooling gas deflector spaced adjacent to the molten film tube. The unidirectional cooling element operably expels cooling gas in a path with the flow of the molten film tube toward an exit gap formed between the unidirectional cooling interface and the molten film tube. The minimum gap between the unidirectional cooling interface and the molten film tube occurs at the exit gap, and advantageously, the unidirectional cooling interface is provided with one or more compound angles to maximize stability and cooling efficiency.
COMPOSTABLE MATERIAL FOR PACKAGING
A compostable material and methods of forming the same are described. The compostable material includes about 90% to about 99% by weight of a compostable polymeric material and a nucleating agent. The compostable material has a degree of crystallinity of about 5% to about 45%.
CAST PIECE COOLING METHOD, GEL SHEET, MULTILAYER MICROPOROUS POLYETHYLENE SEPARATOR, AND PREPARATION METHOD
A cast piece cooling method, a gel sheet, a multilayer microporous polyethylene separator, and a preparation method are provided. The cast piece cooling method includes: changing an opening degree of a die head so that a molten material flowing out of the die head is an arc-shaped molten material; calendering a cast piece so that the arc-shaped molten material passes vertically through a gap between a first casting roller and a pinch roller to form a calendered cast piece; and gradually cooling, so that the calendered cast piece is guided and transported along surfaces of other casting rollers to the last casting roller, and cooling the calendered cast piece, to obtain a gel sheet.
