Systems and methods for a product system of an agricultural applicator
A product system for an agricultural sprayer can include a product tank configured to store a first volume of an agricultural product. A second volume of the agricultural product can be positioned within a flow assembly after the fill mode. A reclaim system can be configured to provide the agricultural product within the flow assembly to the product tank. A computing system can be communicatively coupled with the reclaim system and configured to determine an open volume of the product tank based on data captured by the tank sensor and activate a reclaim mode of the reclaim system to move the second volume of the agricultural product from the flow assembly to the product tank when the open volume can be greater than the second volume of the agricultural product.
Folding hitch
A hitch assembly having a carrier for attachment to a working vehicle. A pair of lift arms, link member and actuator are pivotally interconnected such that the hitch assembly is lockable in working and folded configurations. In the working configuration, the lift arms are secured to the carrier and the actuator is operable to raise and lower the lift arms. In the folded configuration, the lift arms are pivotable relative to the carrier. Extension of the actuator folds the lift arms relative to the carrier to move the hitch assembly between the working and folded configuration.
SOIL MONITORING SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL TILLAGE IMPLEMENT
A soil monitoring system for an agricultural tillage implement includes a sensor configured to be coupled to a frame of the agricultural tillage implement. The sensor is configured to be directed toward a region of a soil surface. In addition, the sensor is configured to emit an output signal toward the region of the soil surface and to receive a return signal indicative of a profile of the soil surface within the region. Furthermore, the soil monitoring system includes a controller configured to identify a rough soil profile in response to determining that at least one variation in the profile of the soil surface within the region is greater than a first threshold value, and/or in response to determining that a number of variations in the profile of the soil surface within the region is greater than a second threshold value.
Method for determining a physical parameter of an upper link
A method for determining a physical parameter of an adjustable upper link of a three-point hitch during a working operation thereof includes providing a lower link of the three-point hitch and an implement attachable to the upper and lower links of the three-point hitch. The method includes generating calibration data prior to the working operation of the three-point hitch, where the calibration data defines a relationship of a length of the upper link to an upper link angle defined between the upper link and a reference line. Moreover, the calibration data is used to determine a physical parameter of the adjustable upper link during the working operation.
Implement offset arm
An offset arm for a tractor is provided. The offset arm includes a front hitch, a rear hitch, and a rigid connecting structure coupling the front hitch to the rear hitch. The offset arm also includes a front pivot point pivotally connecting the connecting structure to the front hitch about a vertical pivot axis and a rear pivot point pivotally connecting the connecting structure to the rear hitch about a vertical pivot axis. The offset arm also includes a rear pivot lock that selectively locks the rear pivot point to lock the orientation of the rear hitch relative to the connecting structure. The rear pivot lock can selectively lock the rear hitch in any of multiple orientations.
ATTACHMENT FOR A TOWBAR OF A TOWABLE APPARATUS
An attachment (1) for attaching to a towbar (3) of a towable apparatus (5), for example, a mower for hitching the towable apparatus (5) to either an agricultural tractor or a road vehicle comprises a mounting shaft (10) for securing to the towbar (3), and carrying a first gearbox (12). A second gearbox (14) is pivotally coupled to the first gearbox (12) about a vertical pivot axis (15) through which drive is transmitted from the second gearbox (14) to the first gearbox (12). A carrier housing (24) is rigidly secured to the second gearbox (14) and carries a first hitch (30) for hitching to a complementary hitch mechanism of a road vehicle, and a second hitch (38) for coupling a tractor (7). The second gearbox (14) is pivotal relative to the first gearbox (14) about the main pivot axis (15) between a first state with the first hitch (30) ready for hitching to the road vehicle, and a second state with the second hitch (38) ready for hitching to the tractor (7).
Off-board power and implement coupler for a work vehicle
An implement coupler including an electrical generator configured to generate electric power in response to a mechanical force provided by a power takeoff of a work vehicle. The implement coupler includes a support frame and an adjustment mechanism operatively connected to the support frame, wherein the adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust the position of the support frame with respect to the work vehicle. The generator is located on the support frame and is operatively connected to the power takeoff. The implement coupler further includes a drive shaft connected to the power takeoff and to the generator, an electrical coupler electrically coupled to the generator to provide access to the generated electrical power wherein the electrical coupler includes an output configured to provide the generated electrical power, and a line coupler including a connector configured to couple to source of material and to deliver the material.
THREE-POINT HITCH FOR AN AGRICULTURAL TRACTOR
A three-point hitch for an agricultural tractor includes a hydraulically actuatable lifting arm, a vertically pivotable lower link, and a lifting strut arranged between the lifting arm and the lower link. The lifting strut transmits to the lower link a pivoting movement on the lifting arm. The lifting strut includes a first fastening portion articulated to the lifting arm and a second fastening portion articulated to the lower link. The second fastening portion includes first and second fastening segments which encompass the lower link in a fork-shaped manner. A bearing pin disposed between the two fastening segments extends through a slot formed in the lower link. By pivoting the lower link, the bearing pin is displaced inside the slot between a first working position and a second working position. In each position, the bearing pin is secured inside the slot by a blocking arrangement.
SINGLY STEERABLE, SERPENTINE STEEL TRACK CRAWLER TRANSFORMABLE INTO MULTI-TRACK CRAWLER AND WHEELED VEHICLE
There is provided a singly steerable, serpentine steel track crawler. The single-track crawler can steer independently in a serpentine fashion. Two or more single crawler tracks side-by-side can be transformed into a multi-track crawler vehicle. The single-track crawler or multi-track crawler vehicle can be fitted with rubber tires for plying on paved roads. This makes it a versatile, multi-terrain vehicle for agriculture and earth-moving applications.
Enhanced resolution fore/aft leveling of a towable tillage implement
A system, apparatus and method, for enhancing resolution during remotely controlled adjustment of a fore/aft trim angle of a frame of a towable tillage implement, utilize a fore/aft trim angle adjustment arrangement operatively attached between a hitch and the frame of the implement for tilting the frame at a desired trim angle along a fore/aft axis of the frame. An adjustable-length fore/aft trim linkage is operatively connected between the frame and the hitch for adjusting and maintaining the trim angle. A linear actuator is operatively attached to the trim angle linkage for remotely controlling the length of the trim angle adjustment linkage to thereby adjust the trim angle as a function of a stroke of the actuator. The fore/aft trim linkage provides an adjustment in its length that is proportionally less than the stroke of the actuator, to thereby provide enhanced resolution for remote control of the trim angle.
