Method of drying jellyfish matter
A method for drying moist jellyfish matter is provided. Jellyfish matter undergoes a controlled drying process until the jellyfish matter comprises a dried flake or mass.
Closed processing system and method for treating elongated food products
The present invention relates to a closed processing system for treating elongated food products comprising a housing bounding a process space, a transport path for displacing the elongated food products through the process space, at least one airflow generator for generating an airflow in the process space, at least one airflow conditioner for conditioning the generated airflow, and at least one detector for detecting process conditions in the process space, wherein the detected process conditions include at least the relative humidity and wherein the system is arranged to control the process conditions by adjusting the at least one airflow generator and/or at least one airflow conditioner based on the detected relative humidity. The present invention further relates to a method for treating elongated food products.
VAPOR PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR DRYING AND CURING PRODUCTS
A system to control the conditions of an aging room, also known as a conditioned space, for products in which independent feedback loops control the dry bulb temperature and the dew point while controlling the difference between the vapor pressure in the room and the vapor pressure of the products being dried, thereby controlling the amount of and rate of water or water vapor loss of the products and, therefore controlling its quality, the system also including target controls, a thermoelectric cooler and lighting controls.
Combination of solid-state RF technology with another heat treatment for food
A line for heating, drying, disinfecting, pasteurizing and/or sterilizing a substance with an apparatus that includes at least one, preferably a multitude, solid-state radio frequency source(s) and a further heat treatment apparatus. A method for heating, drying, disinfecting, pasteurizing and/or sterilizing a substance with an apparatus that includes at least a solid-state RF energy source microwave heating step and a further heat treatment step.
Coagulation of the Marrow in Bones
A method of treating a meat-substance containing a bone structure. The bone marrow is coagulated with microwaves generated by a solid-state RF energy source. The microwave heating may be carried out prior to a heat treatment of the meat-substance and/or may be carried out after slaughtering and before the fresh slaughtered meat-substance is frozen.
Production line and method for in-line processing of food products
The invention relates to a production line for in-line processing of food products, comprising a food transport path that successively leads through: a brine unit; a liquid smoke unit; and a transit oven. The invention also relates to a method for in-line processing of food products, comprising the successive process step: moisturising the food products with a brine; moisturising the food products with a liquid smoke; and heating the food products.
Food dehydrator
Apparatus and related methods for adding increased functionality to a food dehydrator through the use of stackable drying trays that define a circulation plenum during operation and then nest within one another during disassembly so as to reduce an overall storage size of the food dehydrator. The food dehydrator can further include a base portion having a removable splash guard to prevent the introduction of liquids or solids into a mechanical space within the base portion.
FOOD DEHYDRATOR
A food dehydrator with a heating element located beneath a fan in a chamber of the food dehydrator. The heating element includes resistors, connected in series, sandwiched between and in thermal contact with two heatsinks to heat and dry the air within a volume defined by the chamber.
DUAL EXTRUSION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PET FOOD PRODUCTION USING MEAT SLURRIES
High meat content extruded pet foods and methods of preparation thereof, preferably include initial treatment of a high moisture meat slurry to create a dewatered meat fraction and a liquid fraction. The liquid fraction is directed to an extruder, along with typical dry pet food ingredients, in order to create an extruded intermediate. This intermediate is then mixed with the dewatered meat fraction, and the mixture is then extruded and dried to create a final pet food. The methods may be carried out using separate processing systems each including a mixer, an extruder, and a drying assembly, in order to maximize production rates.
Method of Drying Jellyfish Matter
A method for drying moist jellyfish matter is provided. Jellyfish matter undergoes a controlled drying process until the jellyfish matter comprises a dried flake or mass.
