Apparatus for the manufacture and unloading of preforms for the manufacture of plastic containers
An apparatus for the manufacture and unloading of preforms for the manufacture of plastic containers includes a device for the injection molding of preforms and a device for the cooling and extraction of the preforms from the molding device, and further includes a device for the selective extraction of a predetermined subset of preforms supported by the unloading plate in an orderly manner along at least one pickup direction. The apparatus also includes a component for the orderly transfer of the predetermined subset of preforms to a control and inspection device adapted to perform at least one control on the predetermined subset of preforms.
CONTINUOUS STRETCH BLOW MOULDING SYSTEM APPLIED TO SPECIFIED INTEGRAL HANDLE PET PREFORM AND CONTAINER STRUCTURES
A stretch blow moulding, filling and capping system for containers with integral handles; the containers blown from injection moulded preforms; each preform having the integral handle projecting from a junction point on a body portion of the preform; containers blown in a continuously rotating stretch blow moulding machine of the system transferred automatically to a continuous container filling and capping machine. In a preferred form the preforms are progressed continuously at a substantially constant speed; the containers blown therefrom progress at the same substantially constant speed through to the filling and capping machine; and wherein the containers progress continuously through the filling and capping machine at the same substantially constant speed. Also described is a continuous stretch blow moulding system applied to specified integral handle PET preform and PET blown container structures stretch blown from the preforms.
TRANSPORT AND FEED UNIT FOR PREFORMS
A transport and feed unit for preforms, in particular for PET bottles, in which the transport and feed unit can be charged with preforms at its upstream end and supplies the preforms to a conveyor unit arranged at the downstream end of the transport and feed unit. The transport and feed unit has a first conveyor and a second conveyor, in which at the downstream end of the first conveyor a funnel-like device is provided through which the preforms reach the second conveyor which supplies the preforms to the conveyor unit arranged at its downstream end.
Method and device for testing preforms
A device and method tests preforms that are rotationally symmetrical with respect to an axis of rotation during their conveyance along a conveyance path. The device and method tests only a statistically relevant number of produced preforms, thus allowing substantial reduction in the constructive complexity required for aligning the preforms prior to being tested. A certain number of preforms that have not been correctly aligned are allowed to continue along the conveyance path without being tested.
CONTAINER MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
A container manufacturing device is provided. In detail, the container manufacturing device for performing manufacture of a container pre-form and container molding in a single station via one stop. The container manufacturing device includes a pre-form molding module configured to form a shape of a pre-form of a container using a resin material, an injection module connected to the pre-form molding module and configured to supply the resin material to the pre-form molding module, a container molding module configured to inject air to a pre-form completed by the pre-form molding module to expand the pre-form and to form the shape of the container, and including a container mold, and a rotary table with a rib plate suspended thereon while rotating between the pre-form molding module and the container molding module, the pre-form or the container being mounted on the rib plate.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOADING A FIBRE-BASED CONTAINER WITH A PREFORM AND FOR INSERTING THE CONTAINER INTO A BLOW MOLD
The invention relates to a device and a method for loading a fiber-based container (20) with a preform (30), comprising the following steps:
providing a container (20) on a rotary plate (40);
rotating the rotary plate (40) together with the container (20) into a predetermined position;
inserting a preform (30) into the container (20); the invention also relates to a method for inserting a fiber-based container (20), together with a preform (30) arranged therein, into a blow mold (80).
METHOD OF BLOW MOLDING USING A CLOSED-LOOP OVEN SYSTEM
A closed-loop method of heating a preform for a blow molding operation is provided. The method involves inspecting a preform upon entry into a system, heating the preform, measuring a preform temperature along its longitudinal axis and around its circumference, heating the preform again, measuring a preform temperature again along its longitudinal axis and around its circumference, comparing the second temperature measurement to a known, acceptable temperature measurement, and optimizing the heating step(s) to ensure subsequent optimization of the heating of subsequent preforms.
CONTAINER TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING AND TREATING PREFORMS
A container treatment system for producing and treating preforms, wherein the container treatment system comprises a production machine for producing preforms, at least one container treatment machine arranged downstream of the production machine in a transport direction of the preforms, and a control unit, wherein the control unit is configured to control a flow of preforms in the container treatment system based on a component of the container treatment system being down.
