METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CONTAINER INCLUDING BOXING TIMED WITH BLOWING
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a container from a blank in a mold provided with a movable insert, wherein the method includes the following phases: pre-blowing; blow molding; boxing; and the following operations: measuring the prevailing pressure in the blank in real-time and storing the measurement in a memory; measuring the position of the insert in real-time and storing the measurement in a memory; detecting a time t.sub.S2 indicating the actual start of the blowing phase and moment t.sub.B2 indicating the actual start of movement of the insert and storing same in a memory; calculating T1=t.sub.S2−t.sub.B2; comparing T1 with a predetermined non-zero reference T1.sub.ref, as long as T1 is different from T1.sub.ref, and delaying the start of the boxing phase.
Raised Bed Garden and Micro Greenhouse System
A raised bed garden and sandbox system comprised of rails and connectors, where the rails are connected to each other via a hinge-like system and joined by the insertion of tubular connectors that are circular in cross-section and open at one end to allow the insertion of a framework for a cover. A structure to support a cover is described, consisting of multiple cross-members, where one end of each cross-member is inserted into a connector and the other end of the cross-member is inserted into the opposite connector. An alternative design for a structure to support a cover is described, where for each cross-member one end is inserted into a connector and the other end is inserted into a central hub. A pattern is described to ensure that the raised bed garden or sandbox is arranged into a regular polygon. A heating element consisting of an electrical resistor arranged in a plane is described, as well as an planar insulator sized to fit the raised bed garden. An improvement in the design of a blow-molded rail provides higher quality and shorter cycle time by forming a partial bushing in the male end of the rail instead of a full bushing.
Method for handling a hot-filled plastic bottle having a deep-set invertible base
A plastic container comprises an upper portion including a finish defining an opening into the container, a lower portion including a base defining a standing surface, a sidewall extending between the upper portion and the lower portion, the sidewall defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one substantially transversely-oriented pressure panel located in the lower portion. The pressure panel is movable between an outwardly-inclined position and an inwardly-inclined position to compensate for a change of pressure inside the container. The standing surface defines a standing plane, and the entire pressure panel is located between the standing plane and the upper portion of the container when the pressure panel is in the outwardly-inclined position.
Container Lid
The invention teaches a container lid product for controlling access to a container. The container lid comprises one or more hollow molded hinges with solid compressed area to eliminate any seam in use pivotally connecting the product to the container, a hollow-molded edge disposed adjacent to the one or more hollow-molded hinges, and a single-walled cover portion being connected to the hollow-molded edge. The single-walled cover has a length and a width and comprises a plurality of ribs extending the length of the single-walled cover. The single-walled cover has a peripheral rim with an undercut for stiffening. Each the one or more hollow molded hinges comprises an elongate knuckle. The hollow-molded edges comprises a top layer and a bottom layer.
FUEL TANK
A fuel tank has a built-in component with a head portion, a neck portion, and a shoulder portion, and has the built-in component anchored to a tank body with a parison wrapped around the neck portion during molding. The fuel tank includes a deformation prevention structure configured to prevent a wrapping parison portion wrapped around the neck portion from being deformed due to pressure acting on the tank body. The deformation prevention structure is configured to include one of a stepped portion provided in the shoulder portion, a convex portion, and a recess.

The feed device may feed the jig, having the built-in components placed thereon, to the position via a subsurface feed path leading to the position.
Method of handling a plastic container having a moveable base
Method for processing hot-filled plastic containers are provided. In some embodiments, the method may include hot-filling a plastic container, sealing the container, and conveying the sealed container, each with an inner annular wall and a push-up portion in a first position. In some embodiments, the method may further include creating a vacuum pressure in the hot-filled and sealed container and repositioning the push-up portion from the first position to a second position under a mechanical force.
