SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR APPYLING TREATMENTS FOR PRESERVATION OF PERISHABLE GOODS
20200281233 · 2020-09-10 ·

A method for treating a perishable product including determining a desired product treatment outcome selected from sanitation, protection, preservation, or enhancement of the perishable product; directly applying a substance to the surface of the perishable product after harvesting using a carrier; wet or dry washing the perishable product; and packaging the perishable product. A system for treating a perishable product with a substance treatment including one or more devices for directed substance application to a surface of the perishable products prior to final packaging of the perishable product using a carrier; and wherein the one or more devices is an electrostatically charging device or a nebulizer. Embodiments of the invention enhance the efficacy of sanitizers and other functional substances for increasing the quality, safety, and overall shelf life of perishable products through improved coating and distribution of the sanitizers and functional substances on the surface of perishable product.

A CARCASS CLEANING SYSTEM
20200245631 · 2020-08-06 ·

A carcass cleaning system. Specifically, a system for cleaning an animal carcass using potable water passed through an offline treatment system and the application of this treated water to the surface of the carcass, for example, by running through a bath or by spraying or nebulisation at or onto the surface of the carcass. The invention finds utility in the fields of butchery and slaughtering o animals in the preparation for

Method and device for ship-borne freezing of marine products after treated by highly activated water and nondestructive sensing of ice crystals

The present invention relates to a method and a device for ship-borne freezing of marine products after treated by highly activated water and nondestructive sensing of ice crystals. Through treating the seawater with atmospheric plasma in a certain atmosphere and introducing the tail gas from plasma reactor into the seawater in tail gas collecting device, the highly activated water is obtained. After cooling by the ship-borne refrigeration system, the cooled highly activated water can be used to cool and sterilize the captured marine products timely. During the following freezing processes, both the ultra-high frequency (UHF) electromagnetic field system and pulsed ultrasonic monitoring system are applied simultaneously, which can not only effectively reduce the size of ice crystals and the juice loss of the frozen products during thawing, but also inhibits the thermal effect of electromagnetic field.

OSMOTIC SYSTEM FOR MAINTENANCE OF PERISHABLE ITEMS
20200029602 · 2020-01-30 ·

A system and methodology for rehydrating perishable items (e.g., flowers, fresh food items, such as fruits, vegetables, other produce, and nuts) during storage and transportation thereof. The osmotic rehydration apparatus includes a pressurized chamber, a humidifier, an ozone generator, an electrostatic sprayer, a reservoir containing saline, and an air compressor. The perishable items are placed in the osmotic chamber under positive pressure. A film of saline solution is applied to the surface of the perishable items via an electrostatic sprayer. The saline/chlorine film on the perishable items is dried, and the osmotic chamber is saturated with ozone gas via an ozone generator. The osmotic chamber is then saturated with tiny pure water droplets via a humidifier or an electrostatic sprayer. The pressure within the chamber is raised to a pressure above atmospheric pressure. The osmotic chamber is then placed inside a cooler at a temperature slightly above freezing.

DUAL WATERFALL CABINET FOR FOOD PROCESSING APPLICATIONS
20240122190 · 2024-04-18 ·

A dual waterfall cabinet includes a hollow basin having front and rear openings to allow workpieces to move therethrough. The cabinet also includes waterfall assemblies on either side of the hollow basin that form waterfalls of solution to be applied to the workpieces. To provide thorough interior and exterior coverage, the distance between the waterfalls can vary along a length of the cabinet.

METHOD FOR CLEANING, DETOXIFYING AND CELLS AND TISSUES PRESERVATION OF FRESH ANIMAL LIVER

The present application relates to a method for cleaning, detoxifying and cells and tissues preservation of a fresh animal liver, comprising the following steps: taking out a whole fresh liver from an animal body quickly and removing the gallbladder, with blood vessels in first porta hepatis of the liver being retained; dissecting quickly and determining portal vein, biliary tract, hepatic artery and upper and lower ends of the inferior vena cava, and then inserting disinfected medical catheters into blood vessels of the portal vein, the biliary tract and blood vessels of the hepatic artery; perfusing a perfusate into the catheters, eliminating macrophages and other immune cells containing a large number of toxins, blood and harmful substances in the liver continuously and flushing bitter bile out from the biliary tract meantime; and completing processing of the liver when the fresh liver becomes white from blood red. It can be guaranteed that cells and tissues of the liver are not damaged as far as possible, and toxins, blood and harmful substances in the liver can be eliminated after the liver is treated by the method.
