ATTACHMENT PART FOR CONNECTING TO A STRUCTURAL PART
An add-on part (10) for connecting to a component (30). The add-on part (10) has a longitudinal axis (A) and a welding section (11) to be welded to the component (30) by torsional ultrasonic welding. The welding section (11) has a contact surface (12) for contact with a torsion sonotrode (70) and a welding surface (13) for connecting to the component (30). The welding section (11) is delimited, at least in some sections, by an inner vibration-decoupling zone (14). The inner vibration-decoupling zone (14) extends, at least in some sections, at an inclination to or parallel to the longitudinal axis (A). The method comprises a) bringing the welding surface (13) in contact with a welding region (31), b) applying a force to the contact surface (12) such that the welding surface (13) is pressed against the welding region (31), and c) introducing a torsional ultrasonic vibration into the welding section.
BONDED BODY
A bonded body is formed of a first member and a second member. The first member has a first base portion and a first welded portion which protrudes from the first base portion toward the second member side. The second member has a second base portion and a second welded portion which protrudes from the second base portion toward the first member side. In a first region of the joint portion, a first rib formed so as to project from the first base portion toward the second member side covers the first welded portion and the second welded portion from the side. In a second region different from the first region, a second rib formed so as to project from the second base portion toward the first member side covers the first welded portion and the second welded portion from the side.
VIBRATION WELDING DEVICE, METHOD FOR CONNECTING AT LEAST TWO ELONGATED COMPONENTS BY VIBRATION WELDING, AND A PRODUCTION METHOD FOR THE VIBRATION WELDING DEVICE
A vibration welding device having a mechanically coupled multiple vibrator. Within this vibration welding device, the plurality of vibration units are arranged relative to an elongated tool such that the first direction of vibrations of the individual vibration units is oriented approximately transverse to a longitudinal axis of the tool such that, during a vibration welding process, two components are weldable to each other by vibrations different than a longitudinal direction of the components.
Method for producing a compressor stator of an axial turbomachine
The invention relates to a method of producing a low-pressure compressor stator for an axial turbine engine. The stator comprises an external shroud with stubs and an annular row of stator blades extending radially towards the inside from the stubs. The method comprises the following stages: supply or production of a starting bar; bending of the bar so that it makes a circle, in order to form an unwrought external shroud; turning to form an axial annular wall delimited by annular fixing flanges; orbital friction-welding of a row of blades onto the stubs of the external shroud. The stubs are realized during a milling stage of the bar or of the external shroud, the milling being carried out before or after the bending stage. The shroud and the blades can be produced in titanium or in a thermoplastic polymer.
Method for Welding a Polyolefin Plastic and an Additional Plastic
The invention relates to a method for welding a polyolefin plastic and a plastic using a primer, said primer containing at least one maleic anhydride containing polymer and at least one polyester. The invention also relates to correspondingly bonded products.
INTAKE MANIFOLD
The present intake manifold consists of segments including an upper member, a lower member, and a middle member that is interposed between these members to demarcate and form intake passages so that the intake passages are arranged in a straight line, and has first welded portions at which the upper member and the middle member are welded together, and second welded portions at which the middle member and the lower member are welded together. The first welded portions are extended outward from the intake passage formed by the upper member and the middle member, and the second welded portions are extended outward from the intake passage formed by the middle member and the lower member. The middle member is provided with ribs holding the first welded portions and the second welded portions in one piece.
Method and apparatus for high speed plastic strapping welding
An apparatus for producing an improved friction-fused welded joint is provided for use with overlapping thermoplastic strap portions. In an embodiment, the gripper is caused to swing back and force with a sufficiently large stroke and with a sufficiently fast stroke to cause sufficient reciprocation to rapidly heat the thermoplastic so that the two straps are welded together while reducing the depth of the area that is melted compared to traditional methods. Also, in an embodiment, a method is provided for stopping the relative motion of the two portions of straps with the portions of the plastic straps oriented in the same aligned relative positions at the end of the welding operation as at the beginning is disclosed.
STRAPPING APPARATUS
In order, in the case of a strapping apparatus for strapping articles with a strapping band, having a base plate which is provided for arranging on an article, having a tensioning device with which a band tension can be applied to the strapping band, the tensioning device being provided for this purpose with an actuable tensioning tool which can be brought into and out of contact with the band, having a sealing device with which, by contact with the band, two band layers can be permanently connected to each other by forming a seal between the two band layers, being provided with a clamping device which has at least one clamp with two interacting clamping elements for clamping the band between the clamping elements, and being provided with at least one actuating element with which a magnitude of a tensioning force which can be applied to the strapping band or a magnitude which is dependent on the tensioning force can be set, to improve the strength of friction-welded band strapping seals produced by the strapping apparatus, it is proposed that a cooling time period for the seal, during which the strapping apparatus does not release the strapping band after the end of a welding time, is variable depending on the variably adjustable tensioning force or a magnitude which is dependent thereon.
Manufacturing method for joined body
A manufacturing method for a joined body, includes: bringing a first member and a second member into contact with each other, at least one of the first member and the second member being made of thermoplastic resin, and the second member having a recessed portion on a joining surface to be joined to the first member; and welding the first member and the second member together, including welding a contact portion of the first member and the second member by melting the thermoplastic resin by frictional heat generated in the contact portion by relative movement of the first member and the second member, in a state in which the first member and the second member are in contact with each other.
