A method is provided for producing a component connection. The method includes the following steps: providing a first component, providing a first ball, pressing the first ball against the first component by a sonotrode, vibrating the first ball by the sonotrode such that material of the first ball and/or material of the first component melts, and the first ball is welded to the first component, providing a second ball, pressing the second ball against the first ball by the same sonotrode or another sonotrode, and vibrating the second ball by the same sonotrode or the other sonotrode such that material of the second ball and/or material of the first ball melts, and the second ball is welded to the first ball.
Method for producing a component connection
A method is provided for producing a component connection. The method includes the steps of: providing a first component that is made of a thermoplastic plastic material at least in the region of a portion of the surface thereof; providing a ball that is made of a thermoplastic plastic material in at least one region of the surface thereof; pressing the ball on the first component such that the thermoplastic plastic material of the ball comes into contact with the thermoplastic plastic material of the first component; vibrating the ball using an ultrasonic sonotrode and welding the ball with the first component; providing a second component having a through hole; bringing the second component to the first component in such a way that the ball projects at least into the through hole of the second component or a portion projects to a certain extent through the through hole; clipping a clip element to the ball, wherein the clip element projects beyond the through hole and joins both components to one another in an interlocking and/or force-locked manner.

A cavity (100) for accommodating a beverage substrate in the form of a powder, granules, cut leaves or liquid is formed between the capsule bottom and the cover. A filter element (7) is arranged in the cavity, and the filter element is produced of non-woven fiber material. The filter element has a cut-out in which no filtering material is provided. The present invention also relates to a method for producing a single serve capsule.

A device (10) for welding components by ultrasound. The device (10) comprises a sonotrode (11) having a sonotrode head (12), which can be excited by a vibration generator to produce torsion vibrations with respect to a torsion axis (T). At least one welding surface (14) is arranged on the peripheral side on the sonotrode head (12) with respect to the torsion axis (T). The device (10) also comprises a support device (15) which supports the sonotrode head (11) in a support area (16), which contains a vibration node of the sonotrode head (12). The support area (16) and the welding surface (14) at least partially extend along a common plane (E) which extends perpendicular to the torsion axis (T). A device (10) for welding components by ultrasound by using a temperature control device are also disclosed.

Method for connecting a surface-structured workpiece and a plastic workpiece
A method for connecting a surface-structured workpiece (SSW) and a plastic workpiece using a joining tool with a sonotrode. The method includes: positioning the SSW and the plastic workpiece on an anvil such that a structured contact surface section (SCSS) of the SSW faces a contact surface of the plastic workpiece; positioning the sonotrode in contact with an outer surface of the SSW that is opposite to the SCSS; and applying pressure to the sonotrode and/or the anvil perpendicular to the contact surface to hold the workpieces fixed between the anvil and the sonotrode and applying ultrasonic vibrations to the workpieces by the sonotrode for a predetermined period of time to induce softening of the plastic workpiece and penetrate pin-like elements of the SCSS into the plastic workpiece.
