Method of joining segments of a composite component
Methods are provided for joining a composite component, such as a rotor blade of a wind turbine. Accordingly, a first blade segment is provided and a bladder assembly is positioned thereon. Additionally, an adhesive element is positioned in a first position on the first blade segment. A second blade segment is positioned with the first blade segment so as to define an inner cavity therebetween. The inner cavity contains the adhesive element and the bladder assembly, but the adhesive element does not contact the second blade segment while in the first position. The bladder assembly is inflated to transition the adhesive element to a second position in contact with both the first blade segment and the second blade segment. With the adhesive element in contact with both blade segments, the adhesive element is allowed to cure in order to secure the blade segments to one another.

METHOD FOR ADHERING PARTS AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD
A method is provided of bonding together at least two parts. The method includes assembling together at least two parts and at least one adhesive layer, the adhesive being configured so that its adhesive power increases on heating as a result of it polymerizing, at least one of the parts being made of composite material or of metal, the adhesive layer being present, after assembly, between the parts, the assembled together parts and the adhesive being present in a chamber defined by a wall, the wall having an inside face situated facing a first part present between the adhesive layer and the wall, the first part being intended to be bonded to a second part and only a fraction of the second part being present inside the chamber; and applying a liquid against the wall on its side opposite from the chamber.
Multi-layered article
Multi-layered articles or products comprising layers of filled polymer compositions, methods of making and applications or uses thereof.
Method of forming a shaped article
A method of forming shaped articles by welding.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE JOINING FURNACE
A high-temperature joining furnace is presented, which is designed for example for the diffusion bonding of joining materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics and corresponding workpieces. The joining furnace comprises a heating chamber, a workpiece holder arranged in the heating chamber for receiving a workpiece to be processed in the joining furnace, a pressing device arranged and adapted to apply a pressing force to the workpiece, wherein the pressing device comprises a pressing plate for uniformly applying the pressing force to the workpiece, and is characterized in that the pressing plate is equipped with a pressing plate heating device for heating the pressing plate and/or the workpiece.

METHOD FOR JOINING AT LEAST TWO COMPONENTS
An in-situ thermoforming and (co-)consolidation process for joining two components together. An adaption of one of the components to the contour of the other component is done directly before a joining step with the other component in the same tooling by adapting process parameters such as heat and pressure. Also a stiffened component manufactured by such a method.
