A first tab-bracket is secured to the first boss component and a second tab bracket is secured to the second boss component. Each tab-bracket includes a portion having adhesive applied thereon. A battery is affixed to the adhesive at the first tab-bracket and to the adhesive at the second tab-bracket after the tab-brackets are secured to the boss components.

FILM PASTING TOOL AND FILM PASTING METHOD
20190168442 · 2019-06-06 · ·

A film pasting tool is used to paste one surface of a film on a member-to-be-pasted at a predetermined position. The tool comprises a flexible tabular body, a first adhesive part, a front surface thereof being adhesive, provided on one surface of the body, and a second adhesive part, a front surface thereof being adhesive, provided on a part of a region other than a region where the first adhesive part is provided out of one surface of the body. An other surface of the film is pastable on the front surface of the second adhesive part, and when the other surface of the film is pasted on the front surface of the second adhesive part, the front surface of the first adhesive part is exposed in such a manner that the front surface of the first adhesive part is pastable on the member-to-be-pasted.

Tape applicator with split wiper

A tape applicator consistent with the present disclosure may include a tape applicator configured for applying a tape, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive tape to a carton (e.g., for sealing and/or assembling the carton). One or more rollers may be utilized to aid in applying the pressure sensitive adhesive tape to a carton. Furthermore, a wiper aids in applying pressure sensitive adhesive tape to a carton (e.g., before and/or after the one or more rollers). The wiper may be a split wiper having a first portion and a second portion, which allows for applying adhesive tape to a carton when the carton is under-packed or over-packed, and thus, the flaps of the carton are not level with respect to each other (e.g., the edges are not located in the same plane).

Expandable Easy Opening Dough Package

An easy opening flexible package and method of making same is provided. The package is suitable for containing raw dough and other products, especially products that create pressure within the package by expansion or by giving off gas such as carbon dioxide.

IV MEMBRANE ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An intravenous delivery system may have a liquid source containing a liquid, tubing, and an anti-run-dry membrane positioned such that the liquid, flowing form the liquid source to the tubing, passes through the anti-run-dry membrane. The anti-run-dry membrane may be positioned within an exterior wall of a drip unit, and may be secured to a seat of the exterior wall by an attachment component. The attachment component may have various forms, such as a secondary exterior wall that cooperates with the exterior wall to define a drip chamber, a washer positioned such that the anti-run-dry membrane is between the washer and the seat, and an adhesive ring formed of a pressure sensitive adhesive and secured to the anti-run-dry membrane and the seat via compression. Interference features may protrude inward from the exterior wall or outward from the anti-run-dry membrane to help keep the anti-run-dry membrane in place.

Micro flow channel chip and method for producing flow channel chip

Provided is a method for producing a micro flow channel chip that is used for a treatment or analysis of a liquid sample, the method being capable of producing a micro flow channel chip with high shape accuracy and high efficiency. The method includes a step of forming a groove on one surface of a base material; a lamination step of forming an adhesive resin layer on at least one surface of a resin film, and thereby obtaining a first laminate; and an adhesion step of arranging the surface of the base material where a groove has been formed and the adhesive resin layer of the first laminate to face each other, and bonding the base material and the first laminate such that the adhesive resin layer covers the groove, in which the glass transition temperature of the adhesive resin layer is 25 C. or lower.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ITEM AUTHENTICATION AND CUSTOMIZATION

A method of illuminating an item is disclosed. The method includes applying adhesive to the item, interspersing a taggant in the adhesive, illuminating the item with an excitation signal, sensing luminescence emitted by the taggant in response to illumination by the excitation signal, and determining the authenticity of the item based on the sensed emitted luminescence. The item can include any item benefited by authentication, and can include a postage stamp. A method of customizing an item is disclosed. This can include the steps of preparing a substrate, applying a security feature to the substrate, printing non-customized information on the substrate, receiving image information, and printing the image information on the substrate.
