The invention relates to a transport system for a plastics-processing joining system, to the joining system itself and to a method for operating a plastics-processing joining system. It is known to feed plastics components by means of transport systems for processing purposes to a main material transport means, for example moving film path, in order to produce bags for medical purposes. According to the invention, individually controlled movable workpiece carriers for the components are provided, or in addition to a work conveyor path for the workpiece carriers, a path for temporary parking is provided for a separate multitude of workpiece carriers.
Automated method and system for producing an inflatable product
An automated system and method are disclosed for producing an inflatable product having a first sheet, a second sheet, and a plurality of tensioning structures between the first and second sheets. The system includes an upstream tensioning structure production subsystem that produces the tensioning structures and a downstream preassembly production subsystem that couples the tensioning structures to the first and second sheets. The subsystems may operate simultaneously to produce the inflatable product in an automated, efficient, and repeatable manner.

Embodiments herein include a system for joining components. The system can include a rotating base platform, a plurality of receptacles mounted to the base platform, and a rotating sonotrode platform. A plurality of sonotrodes are mounted to the sonotrode platform. Each sonotrode can correspond to a receptacle. Each sonotrode can move in a reciprocating motion between a release position distant from a corresponding receptacle and a compressing position proximal to the corresponding receptacle. The compressing position occurs at a first angular position of the sonotrode platform. Each sonotrode is energized at the compressing position.

A stitchless highly oriented polypropylene fabric bulk bag of the type that can hold 500 to 5000 pounds (226.7 to 2268 kilograms) of bulk material includes a highly oriented polypropylene fabric top, body and bottom, with a heat fused joint providing an air tight connection between the top and body, and another air tight heat fused joint connecting the body and bottom. A fill spout and discharge tube may also be provided with an air tight heat fused joint connecting the fill spout to the top and another air tight heat fused joint connecting the discharge spout to the bottom. Heat sealing machinery include heat seal bar assemblies that can self-align during heat-sealing to apply even pressure to all areas being heat sealed. A heating element is of single piece construction and can include end coupler portions as part of the single piece construction. Carrier plates used in a heat-sealing assembly line guide parts placement, provide quality checks for parts placement, and tooling set-up for machinery.
Lamination device
A lamination device that laminates a plurality of types of workpieces includes supply mechanisms that supply the workpiece to each of supply positions, a movement mechanism including a stator of a linear motor having a predetermined traveling track and a mover of a linear motor that is movable between a plurality of the supply positions along a traveling track, and a controller that controls at least the mover. The mover includes a holding unit that holds the workpiece supplied to the supply positions, and a lamination stage for lamination the workpiece. The controller corrects a relative position of the workpiece with respect to the lamination stage and controls the mover to laminate the workpiece whose relative position is corrected on the lamination stage while the holding unit holds the workpiece supplied to the supply positions and moves to and stops at a next one of the supply positions.
ULTRASONIC WELDING OF AN INSULATING RECEPTACLE
A joining method for an insulating receptacle and the insulating receptacle produced therefrom are disclosed. The method of the present disclosure is an ultrasonic welding process utilizing an ultrasonic welder to join edges of a blank together by welded seams. The welded seams have a relatively low profile and/or present less impediment, resulting in easier insertion of a beverage container into the receptacle. The ultrasonic welder includes a fixture and a drive system having a welding horn. The fixture and/or the welding horn includes one or more engagement/welding elements having one or more protuberances (i.e., weld points) formed thereon.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device for sealing a sealing foil onto a top surface of a primary packaging shell for a contact lens. The sealing device comprises a shell support and a sealing head comprising a contact surface facing downwardly. The sealing device comprises at least one linear actuator for performing a vertical relative movement of the shell support and the sealing head to press the sealing foil against the top surface of the primary packaging shell. The sealing device comprises a foil holder for holding the sealing foil in a vertical gap between the contact surface of the sealing head and the top surface of the primary packaging shell. The sealing foil is sealed to the top surface of the primary packaging shell when the shell support and the sealing head move towards each other.
