STABILIZER MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND STABILIZER MANUFACTURING METHOD
A stabilizer manufacturing apparatus is adapted to bond a rubber bush, which is a bush made of rubber disposed between a stabilizer and a vehicle body, to a rubber bush bonding location where an adhesive layer of the stabilizer is formed. The stabilizer manufacturing apparatus is provided with: a curing furnace for heating the stabilizer, which is conveyed by a manufacturing line conveying unit and has the rubber bush bonding location with which the rubber bush is press-contacted, and performing the bonding; a heat source device that heats air; a blower device that sends the air heated by the heat source device as hot air; and a plurality of nozzles that are disposed along the manufacturing line conveying unit in the curing furnace and blow the hot air against, at a near position from, a location in the vicinity of the rubber bush bonding location of the stabilizer.
METHOD FOR BONDING COMPOSITE MATERIALS AND DEVICE FOR BONDING COMPOSITE MATERIALS
A method is used for a pair of bonding composite materials that are each provided with a melting material and a heat-resistant material. Each heat-resistant material includes a heat-resistant member and a binder member. The ceramic separators have ceramic layers that face each other and that are bonded. An ultrasonic wave is applied to the composite materials while applying a pressure thereto with a processing member. Also heat is applied to the binder members with a heating member. Here, the heater heats the binder members to a temperature that is greater than or equal to the glass transition temperature of the binder members and less than the melting point of the binder members.
Device and Method for Inductively Heating Package Sleeves
A device and method for inductively heating package sleeves including: at least one unit for producing an alternating current, at least one inductor having at least one effective section, and a holding unit having a front holding area and a rear holding area for mounting the inductor, wherein the inductor is connected to the unit for producing an alternating current, and wherein the holding areas arranged in such a way that a gap is formed between the front holding area and the rear holding area, the longitudinal direction of which gap corresponds to the conveying direction of the package sleeves. The effective sections of the at least one inductor may be at least in sections arranged asymmetrically to one another in relation to a center plane lying in the gap.
Fiber feeding device, method of laminating fibers and method of molding composite material
A fiber feeding device includes rollers, a brake and a belt conveyor. The rollers guide feeding out of tapes. The tapes are arrayed without overlapping the tapes in a width direction. The brake stops first feeding out of a first tape. The belt conveyor feeds out second feeding out of a second tape. The second tape is guided by a selected roller. The second tape is fed out by being sandwiched between the selected roller and the belt conveyor. The selected roller approaches the belt conveyor to sandwich the second tape between the selected roller and the belt conveyor while a nonselected roller retreats from the belt conveyor to prevent a third tape from being sandwiched between the nonselected roller and the belt conveyor. The third tape is guided by the nonselected roller. The third tape includes the first tape.
FILM EDGE SEALING DEVICE
A film edge sealing device is disclosed herein which has a groove defining a base. The base of the groove of the edge sealing device is oriented at a skewed angle with respect to a longitudinal direction of the conveyor of the heat sealing machine. Edges of a thermoplastic sheet or two stacked layers of thermoplastic sheets are introduced into the groove of the edge sealing device and placed in contact therewith to both heat and melt the edges of the thermoplastic sheet(s) to form a bead and join the edges thereof to form an edge bead seal.
Method and apparatus to mitigate the bond-line read-out defect in adhesive-bonded composite panels
A method and apparatus to mitigate the severity of the bond-line read-out defect, and more specifically microwave heating to locally cure adhesive bond-line in a single or two stage process comprising heating thermoset adhesive with microwave radiation until the adhesive is fully cured or partially cured. If the adhesive is partially cured, it can be fully cured by being subjected to an additional thermal cycle.
Multiple sealing bars for film wrapping
This invention is directed to multiple sealing bars to seal articles moving on a conveyor (2) inside a sleeve (4) that forms a continuous film tube (5). Retracting conveyors act to collapse the tube between the articles so that the collapsed portion of the tube can be sealed. The synchronization of the sealing bars with the movement of retracting conveyors allows for a continuous motion machine where the products inside the film do not stop.
Automated spacer processing systems and methods
The invention provides automated spacer processing systems and methods. The systems and methods involve at least one robot arm that is configured to process spacers for multiple-pane insulating glazing units. In some embodiments, the systems also include an insulating glazing unit assembly line and a spacer conveyor system. Additionally or alternatively, the systems may include a sealant applicator.
AUTOMATED ULTRASONIC WELDING STATIONS AND RELATED METHODS
A method of ultrasonic welding in an automated mass production process includes: (a) advancing a pallet to move a set of workpieces in the pallet into alignment with a lift of an ultrasonic welding station; (b) operating the lift to raise the set of workpieces out from the pallet and into contact with a horn of the ultrasonic welding station; (c) when the set of workpieces are in contact with the horn, transmitting vibrational energy from the horn to the set of workpieces to weld the workpieces together in a welding operation; and (d), after (c), operating the lift to lower the set of workpieces out of contact with the horn and back into the pallet.
AUTOMATED SPACER PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The invention provides automated spacer processing systems and methods. The systems and methods involve at least one robot arm, at least one sealant applicator, or both. The systems and methods are configured to process spacers for multiple-pane IG units. In some embodiments, the systems include an IG unit assembly line, a spacer conveyor system, or both.
