Elastic laminates and methods for assembling elastic laminates for absorbent articles
The present disclosure relates to elastic laminates and methods for assembling elastic laminates that may be used to make absorbent article components. Elastic laminates may include one or more reinforcement layers positioned between unstretched portions of elastic materials and substrates to which the elastic materials are bonded.
Polyester-based tape composites for wood reinforcement
The present invention is generally directed to prepreg composites, typically in the form of unidirectional tapes, which contain at least one reinforcing fiber and a thermoplastic polyester matrix. The prepreg composites can be thermally bonded to a wood-containing material in order to improve the structural performance of the material without requiring adhesives. The prepreg composite of the present invention can be applied to a wide range of wood substrates, including various hardwoods, softwoods, and engineered wood composites.
Method for manufacturing elastic mat with successive mixed color type
A method includes processing multiple macromolecular staples to successively produce a macromolecular sheet body, multiple silks and multiple sheet particles. The macromolecular sheet body contains multiple district camouflages and is processed by edge cutting to form multiple color strips. The color strips, the silks and the sheet particles are processed and attached to the surface of the macromolecular sheet body, so that the surface of the macromolecular sheet body forms the district camouflages, the thread camouflages and the spot camouflages. Finally, the macromolecular sheet body is vulcanized or solidified in a foam molding zone, to form an elastic mat with a mixed color type.
SOFT PACKAGE WITH STRENGTHENED HOT PRESSING TRACES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A soft package with strengthened hot pressing traces includes a first side wall and a second side wall formed with a folded portion along a folding line and the distal edge of the second side wall is securely adhered to that of the first side wall except of the folding line and the distal edge of the folded portion. A top wall is divided into a first portion and a second portion, wherein a distal edge of the first portion of the top wall is securely adhered to that of the folded portion and a distal edge of the second portion is securely adhered to that of a top portion of the first side wall to form a bag structure. Two strengthened pressing traces are formed on two opposite sides of the top wall. A nozzle is mounted onto the top wall and outwardly extending through the top wall.
MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS FOR THIN FILMS, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Manufacturing systems and methods for thin films, including modifying thin film into engineered film panels, are provided. Some embodiments of the present technology are directed to applying an edging material to a film edge of a thin film in an automated and continuous manner, and some embodiments are directed to treating thin films by adjusting one or more dimensions of the thin film using an adjustable structure, and heating the adjusted portion of the thin film, in addition to, or in lieu of applying the edging material.
INTERNAL TENSIONING STRUCTURE USEABLE WITH INFLATABLE DEVICES
An internal tensioning structure for use in an inflatable product fulfills the basic function of maintaining two adjacent inflatable surfaces in a desired geometric arrangement when the inflatable product is pressurized. The tensioning structure is formed by connecting a pair of plastic strips sheets via spaced-apart strands, such as strings or wires. When pulled taut, the strands provide a high tensile strength between the two opposed plastic strips. At the same time, the plastic strips facilitate a strong, long-lasting weld between the tensioning structure and the inflatable product.
A METHOD OF ATTACHING AT LEAST TWO PIECES OF FABRIC AND A FOOTWEAR COMPRISING A MEMBRANE
A method of attaching at least two pieces of fabric in a waterproof fabric product. The at least two pieces of fabric are attached at a seam. The seam subsequently is sealed by application of a sealing tape. The method includes attaching the at least two pieces of fabric to each other by a welding process to form a welded seam, and performing the sealing by applying the sealing tape to cover the welded seam at one side of the fabric. A waterproof fabric product that has been produced using the method of attaching at least two pieces of fabric. A footwear includes a membrane including at least two pieces of fabric that are attached at a seam.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article includes: a first sheet-like member; a second sheet-like member; an elastic member that is inserted along a lateral direction between a pair of mutually-opposing facing surfaces of the first sheet-like member; joining portions that join the pair of mutually-opposing facing surfaces and that are spaced apart in the lateral direction; and side-seal sections that are disposed at each lateral end portion of the absorbent article. The joining portions are disposed on two sides of the elastic member in a vertical direction, which intersects the lateral direction and a front-rear direction, so that the elastic member is sandwiched and pressed between the joining portions.
ROLLER FOR APPLYING A SHEET OR MEMBRANE TO A GENERALLY VERTICAL SURFACE
A hand tool has a plurality of similarly or identically shaped rollers aligned end-to-end along an axle such that the outer surface of each respective roller moves about an axis define by the axle. The hand tool may be a roofing roller tool that enables an impermeable vapor membrane or sheet to be applied to a vertical wall extending upwardly from an outer perimeter of a roof. The tool may be manipulated by an elongated pole handle coupled to a roller head or roller head frame.
