SEAMLESS HOUSING
A seamless housing includes a first cover and a second cover. The first cover has a first outer surface. The first outer surface has a first outer edge. The second cover covers to the first cover and has a second outer surface. The second outer surface has a second outer edge. The first outer edge and the second outer edge coincide. The first outer surface and the second outer surface form a corner at the junction of the first outer edge and the second outer edge.
Method of manufacturing custom sized plastic tote having intermediate sleeve
A method of manufacturing a custom sized plastic tote lighter in weight than heretofore known custom sized plastic totes is provided. The method comprises separating an injection molded tote into upper and lower portions by cutting the injection molded tote. A sleeve or middle portion of plastic material is secured to the upper and lower portions of the injection molded tote to create a custom sized plastic tote of a desired height. Alternatively, portions of different injection molded totes may be used to create a custom sized plastic tote. The sleeve may be made from different materials and may be made of multiple pieces.
Method of laser welding of an automotive light
Method of manufacture of an automotive light comprising the steps of providing a container body delimited by a first perimetral profile, providing a lenticular body, internally delimited by a second perimetral profile and externally by an outer edge corresponding to said second perimetral profile, wherein the container body acts as an absorbent element of the light beam and the lenticular body acts as a transmission element of the light beam, providing optical devices for changing the divergence of the portions of laser beams in output from the fibers, so as to collimate them overall along at least one predetermined optical axis. The method further comprises the steps of directing on a critical portion of the welding interface at least a first laser beam emitted by a respective fiber lying on an optical plane incident with said critical portion of the welding interface.
Device and method for sealing overlapping packaging parts
A device and method for the fluid-tight sealing of two partially overlapping packaging components, one being a tubular base member formed from a blank of composite cardboard/plastics material, and an additional packaging component forming the upper packaging portion or packaging base, having at least one mandrel and one die, the mandrel having at least two expansion elements which are moved from the operating position thereof towards each other into a rest position, the expansion elements having sealing jaws which, in the operating position thereof, form a closed circumferential outer contour, which corresponds to an inner contour formed by an opening in the die, there remaining between the inner contour and outer contour a narrow annular gap in order to apply a pressing force from the inner side to the overlap region of the packaging components.
METHOD FOR SETTING UP A JOINING APPARATUS FOR JOINING A LIGHT LENS TO A HOUSING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE LIGHTING ARRANGEMENT
A method for setting up a joining apparatus for joining a light lens to a housing of a motor vehicle lighting arrangement. A first virtual model is created of the joining apparatus with a light lens and a housing received therein, a relative arrangement of the light lens to the housing corresponds to a target arrangement. A plurality of virtual models are created of the joining apparatus with the light lens and the housing received therein. The relative arrangement of the light lens to the housing deviates from the target arrangement in each case by means of virtual displacement of the adjuster. A target displacement is calculated of an adjuster on the basis of a functional relationship calculated and the relative arrangement in the test construction unit measured. A light lens is joined to a housing in the target arrangement by displacing the adjuster by the target displacement.
CARTRIDGE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CARTRIDGE
Exposure of a leftover material at a cartridge that forms a vapor product is prevented. There is provided a cartridge that is assembled in a part of a vapor product that includes a heating element for heating an aerosol source. The cartridge includes a first component and a second component, at least one of which being formed of resin, and a connection section whose one end is connected to the first component and whose another end is joined or welded to the second component. The first component includes a first facing surface that faces the second component, and a first outermost edge of the first facing surface. The second component includes a second facing surface that faces the first component, and a second outermost edge of the second facing surface. The first outermost edge and the second component are not joined or welded to each other, and the second outermost edge and the first component are not joined or welded to each other.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THE HIGH-SPEED APPLICATION OF PAPER-BASED END CLOSURES ON COMPOSITE CONTAINERS
A system for assembling a container and closure comprising an expanding collet which has a plurality of pivoting collet segments, each configured to simultaneously pivot radially outward about a pivot point and comprising. The collet comprises a lip that is engagable with the rim of the open end of the container and an angled tip positioned radially inward from the lip and shaped to press a countersink portion of the closure against an interior wall of the container as the collet segments pivot radially outward. As the container and the chuck are brought together, the rim engages with the lips of the collet segments and causes the angled tips of the collet segments to pivot outward toward the interior wall of the container, thereby pushing the countersink portion of the closure against the interior wall of the container.
WELDING STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTION OF TWO OBJECTS
A welding structure includes a first object and a second object connected to each other. The first object includes a first surface, a second surface, a first bonding surface, a welding portion and a second bonding surface. The first bonding surface is connected to one side of the second surface away from the first surface. The welding portion is disposed on a surface perpendicular and connected to the first bonding surface. One side of the second bonding surface is connected to the welding portion. The second object includes a third surface, a fourth surface, a third bonding surface and a fourth bonding surface. The third bonding surface is corresponding to the first bonding surface and connected to one side of the fourth surface away from the third surface. The fourth bonding surface is corresponding to the welding portion and the second bonding surface.
Outer lens for lighting fixtures for vehicles, lighting fixture for vehicles provided with said outer lens, and method for producing said lighting fixture for vehicles
An outer lens for a lighting fixture for a vehicle includes a first region formed of a first material and a second region formed of a second material adjacent to the first region. The first material transmits light in a visible light range. The second material has a first wavelength range with transmittance equal to or less than a first transmittance. A second wavelength range has a transmittance equal to or more than a second light transmittance. A third wavelength range is between the first wavelength range and the second wavelength range. The first wavelength range includes a visible light at an S wavelength or a shorter wavelength. The second wavelength range includes a wavelength range from an M wavelength to an L wavelength. The third wavelength range increases from the S wavelength to the M wavelength. The first wavelength range includes the emission wavelength.
ELECTRIC VALVE
An electric valve can be further miniaturized while reducing the number of manufacturing man-hours. The electric valve contains: a motor including a stator member and a rotor member that displace a valve body, and a housing for accommodating the motor. The housing is formed by joining a heat generation portion formed of a first material to a heat receiving portion formed of a second material. The light transmittance in the first material is lower than the light transmittance in the second material.
