Modular mobile treatment and precooling apparatus, methods, and systems
An improved system and method for treating, precooling, handling, and packaging perishable products uses a mobile container enhanced with increased capacity refrigeration and air flow to recirculate functional substances including sanitizers, and ripening management and conditioning agents across the surface of perishable products during the precooling step. The mobile container is a prefabricated container or is modified from a standard intermodal container or over-the-road semi-trailer. The enhanced forced air and/or refrigeration equipment is contained within the container and/or mounted on the top and/or side exterior of the container and can accomplish rapid cooling. The mobile container can be located near harvest or facilities with no cooling assets. A combined system using conveyors and operational controls provides automated handling of the perishables from receiving, through precooling and treatment, through processing and packaging, preferably to a MAP process, and then to distribution.
System and method of preparing frozen coconuts
The present invention relates to a system and method for preparing frozen coconuts for reliably preserving coconut meat and coconut water inside its own coconut shells. The method comprises drying dehusked coconut, partially freezing the dried dehusked coconut in a chilling unit and freezing the partially frozen dried dehusked coconut in a freezing unit. In one embodiment of the invention, dried dehusked coconut are vacuum sealed and flash frozen to preserve nutrients in a flash freezing unit. The frozen coconuts are stored in frozen storage and have shelf life of over a year. The frozen coconuts, upon thawing, have fresh taste with coconut meat and intact coconut water inside a coconut shell.
Cooling Tabletop Display Assembly
A cooling tabletop display assembly for displaying fresh produce includes a receptacle and a cooling system. The receptacle includes a bottom portion and a perimeter wall extending upwardly from the bottom portion to define an interior space for retaining fresh produce in the receptacle. The perimeter wall has an upper edge that defines an opening extending into the interior space. The cooling system is operatively connected to the receptacle to lower a temperature of an upper surface of the bottom portion of the receptacle and thereby cool fresh produce therein to inhibit ripening and decomposition.
Storage apparatus
A storage apparatus, comprising a compartment; and a box assembly, which is arranged in the compartment. The box assembly comprises: a first side wall; a second side wall arranged opposite the first side wall; a first conductive layer arranged on the second side wall; a first electret membrane, which is arranged on the first side wall, located between the first side wall and the first conductive layer and arranged parallel to the first conductive layer; and an adjusting component, which is used for adjusting the electric field intensity between the first conductive layer and the first electret membrane.
VACUUM COOLING, CONSTANT FLOW PARTIAL PRESSURE WITHOUT REFRIGERATION
A method and apparatus for evaporative cooling of materials within a vacuum chamber by maintaining a controlled partial pressure environment. The method involves sealing material inside a chamber, reducing the internal pressure using a vacuum pump, and simultaneously introducing external gassuch as ambient air, nitrogen, or inert gasesinto the chamber. A constant partial pressure is maintained by balancing the gas input and vacuum pump operation, allowing for efficient evacuation of vaporized liquid without recondensation. The system can operate with either constant or variable flow rates for both gas input and vacuum pumping, depending on desired cooling conditions, chamber size, and material characteristics. The apparatus includes a sealable vacuum chamber, at least one external gas inlet, and a vacuum pump configured to sustain the target partial pressure.
